Its a really strong magnet my friend had a hard time believing it was this strong for such a low price i eventually went onto catching the metal bridge i was standing on we both tried pulling on it from every angle but it didnt budge came back the next day and popped it off with a crowbar.

This is the magnet I chose to start this hobby. It works very well, it has definitely impressed me with the weight of items I've pulled up. I bet you could hang from this magenta, very strong! Nice rope also and it floats! Make sure you lock tight your bolt and nut!! Have fun!

I live in MN (yes, you guessed it, land of 10,000+ lakes). The magnet is incredibly powerful. I was able to pull a bunch of nifty stuff from 2 lakes I have visited so far. The rope is also pretty long. Make sure you tie the magnet well though since the magnet is powerful! Overall, I am delighted with the purchase.

Worked well a little too well. We had many cool adventures with this gem until I got it hooked onto a metal object (pier most likely) we tried to use our Yukon xl to pull it off and wouldn’t budge broke the rope and lost the darn thing. But it worked great

Magnet fishing was my hobby but I'm doing this professionally now. Buying this magnet I see what the real power is. All the magnets I tried before were garbage. It was never so much fun to search for lost treasures. I strongly recommend this product to all my hobby friends. The packaging and design are also impressive and fabulous.

Good quality. Will easily unscrew as it comes. I put some J-B Weld on it and the screw is secure.
