Let me start by saying that I am qualifying this product with one star only because the system dosen't allow me to qualify it with zero.I turned on my camera to set it up and worked very fine, great image and excellente performance. It can detect noise and follow it, so this feature is perfect woriking in conjunction with motion detector.Everything was OK and it was just as the page mentioned: Night vision, Motion detection, Picture quality and quiet operation.So far everything was OK; however, I turned off the camera and that was the end of the story... the camera never turn on again. It stoped working after the initial set up. What a shame, I did not expect such poor quality.

I have a few other ip cams which costs 3 time more but this one does it all with great picture quality. I hope it will last for at least a few years and if it does I would give it 6 stars. I do not use the motion detection so I can not rate that, I simply point the cam out of an upstairs window (with night vision off) and I get to see a good portion of my front yard during the day and night since I have a street light lighting the area I am viewing at nightUpdate: I bought a second one since the first one worked great. However, the second one failed after a couple of weeks. The problem is it didn't always connect to the WIFI and when it did, it disconnected after a few minutes. I am a software engineer so I know that the connection was strong and reliable. Because of this I am knocking down the rating to 3 stars. The picture was great on the second one too. Also, I do not like "Cloud Storage" feature, when using the internal SD card instead, some viewing features are not allowed.Update - 2/1/2020 - The first camera is now dead. Will not stay connected like the one above and will only work a couple minutes after it connects. The picture quality is great but now that it is defective, I would not recommend for anyone to buy. The price was great but the old saying is true with this purchase, you get what you pay for. : (

this is a neat little camera. All of the advertised features really do work. Night vision, audio/motion tracking, HD daylight resolution.. My favorite feature is that this company supports a web browser option that you can use from any computer. Most services only support phone use. You can access your account from either a phone or computer.To clarify, the free features will allow you to view live footage at any time and fully control the camera. to record using the free feature, it will either record to an SD card OR download directly to your phone's storage. you can pay a monthly fee to have everything recorded all the time and stored to the cloud.

WARNING: Almost all of the features advertised (accessing alarm notifications/video recordings, or taking video recordings not on an SD card) require a monthly subscription fee. I double checked to make sure that I didn't misread any of the information on this amazon page, but they just neglected to inform their customers. When it mentions features like you can upload videos to cloud, I thought it could be one of your choice. You HAVE to use their app and services to use any features apart from manually checking live video on your phone. They hook you with the cheap device and then you pay the subscription, which is fine, but they should tell you beforehand!!If you simply want a camera to check in on your kids every once in awhile, then this will be fine. It is not fit for home security unless you're willing to pay 8 dollars a month. The camera has trouble when it starts to get dark. Almost to the point where it's not usable.

These cameras are super easy to set up and start using! We bought two of them to watch our cats while we are not at home. After downloading the app on our phones we found it so easy to move the camera around to see where they were and to talk to them! The video is very clear during the day and the night vision is as good as night vision can be (no complaints!!!). I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to keep a look out not only on their house, but also to look in on your pets!!

I was very excited about this camera. I love the fact that you can use it in you PC, but it stopped working after a week. The picture quality was good, but it was noisy. You could hear the camera rotating in the upstairs rooms. Also, it does not store 10 or 15 seg clips like other cameras do :(Returing it today as it just stopped working.

Great buy. Easy to use. Love that I can monitor from my phone or computer. Like that I can move it by both. The audio on it is not very good. Comes out garbled. It sometimes loses wifi signal. But not much lately. Wish the cord was longer.
