You have to purchase the warranty when you purchase the item. This way the warranty is linked to the item.

Q: If im buying this as a gift how do I give them the protection plan if you send it to my email?

By simply having them send the protection plan directly to their email or forwarding it to them yourself.

Q: Is this a one time fee or is this something I have to pay for on a monthly basis?

One time fee based on how many years of protection.
