YAXI stPad2 LR(Red&Blue) Earpads for Sony MDR7506/900ST

Didn’t expect much, but these Yaxi STPad2s completely changed my M50xBTs. The moment I swapped them in, I felt it — so much more room around the ear, zero pressure. Like they were finally built for real heads, not mannequins. I’m not an audiophile, so I can’t tell you if the highs are silkier or the bass is deeper... but they sound just as good as stock — maybe even better. The comfort though? That’s where it wins. No ear fatigue. No pressure. No heat. Just clean, breathable fit and soft feel all the way. Ease of installation? Stupid simple. I popped them onto my ATH-M50XBRs with no hassle. Took seconds. Value for money? Easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made. I’ve got a big head — like certified wide-load status — and these pads still fit clean with zero pressure on my ears. They’re thin but contoured, almost sculpted, in a way that makes the sound feel like it’s coming from speakers in front of you, not headphones clamped on your skull. Stretchability is on point — they fit my M50s with no fight. Build quality feels solid. Part of the inside is this soft, absorbent fabric that wraps behind your ear, the rest is smooth faux leather that holds the shape without feeling stiff. Bottom line? Sound is great. Comfort is next level. Best pair of pads I’ve ever owned, period.

Alright, fellow audiophiles and style seekers, can we talk about the YAXI earpads. If you are on the hunt for a way to elevate your headphone game, these bad boys are an absolute must-try. Seriously, they sound unbelievably spectacularly awesome! First off, the comfort level is off the charts. Slipping these earpads onto your headphones feels like giving your ears a cozy hug. Whether jamming out to your favorite indie band or diving into a podcast, you will forget you are wearing them. They are perfect for those long listening sessions where you just want to vibe. Can we get real for a second. The only knock - a tad on the thin side. I do wish for just a smidge more padding. But honestly a minor detail. Still comfy. A total win. A lifestyle upgrade. Well worth the coin.

Bought these based on some forums claiming they would fit my Sony MDR-MV1.... THEY DO NOT. Luckily the pads I bought for my MDR-M1's from another brand did fit my MV1 with a bit of stretching. So technically my M1 don't have any pads. So I put these on the M1's and they fit like a dream and feel great. Sound great too. Shame they don't fit the MV1.... maybe the creator of these will make a much larger version (length and width not pad thickness) for the MV1. Can't knock them any Stars for them not fitting my MV1. They never marketed them as doing so. They are marketed for other headphones. But they are very nice.

As I have mentioned above, with the yaxi pads, it sounds like a completely different headphone. Although the comfort is superb, everything will sound recessed, distant and muddy. As much as consumer audiophiles like z review who praised these yaxi as an upgrade, all professional audio engineers i know stick to the stock pads despite the discomfort. Also the stock pads are not as simple as they seem to be, I used to think the cd900st and 7506/ v6 have the same stock pads, but they don't. When you go to soundhouse (jp domestic shipping only) to buy replacements, they are listed under different part number.

I use these Yaxi stPad2 on my Audio-Technica M50X, along with a Schiit Modi/Magni 3. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of these pads. For reference, I previously had Brainwavz memory foam pads (great for the price!) and the stock Audio-Technica pleather pads. These blow either out of the water. In terms of overall fit and comfort- it’s night and day. These fit completely over the ear and give a sense of depth unmatched by the others. My ears have never felt more comfortable wearing over the ear headphones, and I mean that honestly. Now to mention sound quality: It transforms what are normally a very nice pair of closed-back DJ reference headphones, into something with genuine sound stage. Yaxi claims on their site that the alcantara half of the pad goes on the back of your ear, and the leather on the front, so I’ve followed their instructions. Sound appears to be more 3D-like, and there’s increased depth of range. I rate these headphone pads very highly. I would recommend these as an immediate purchase for any headphone they fit.

Exactly what my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x needed! The stock ear pads are more like On-ear and are very uncomfortable! These Yaxi pads are true Over-ear and are just what the Dr. Ordered! Just make sure to install the cloth inner side of the ear pad to the back side of where your ear would be. Highly Recommend!

As someone who is verrrry picky about the sound singature of my headphones, others I have tried will ruin the bass and imaging with the Ultrasones' S-Logic. My recommendation? Anything fully leather. These do the job as well as the questional stock pads that sound the best but have bad ergonomics, these sound as good but more spatious and comfortable. Even that heavy lovley bass it has made a bit more reasonable. These are tastefull headphone pads. Yaxi does it again! They even list all the headphones they support on the package, INCLUDING ULTRASONE! Thank you!

MDR-M1STを使い始めて数か月間、耳の痛みに悩まされてました。 ①純正パッド → ②ノーブランドの厚みがあるCD-900ST用パッド → ③本製品へと交換してます。 ①純正パッド･･･とにかく耳が痛い。１～２時間で耐えられなくなるので間に布とかを入れて厚みを出してみたけどそれでもダメ。音は気に入ってる。でも痛いので常用できない。 ②ノーブランド･･･純正よりは耳が痛くないけど、メガネも使用しているのでパッドが柔らかくない分メガネが頭に押さえつけられる感じになって耳の後ろ部分がメガネの形に凹んでしまう。５時間くらいが限界。音は少し遠く感じるが痛さで使えないよりは・・・という感じ。大体２か月くらい使用したが、メガネの形に凹むのと長時間使用時の耳の痛みも出てきたので買い替え。 ③本製品･･･メガネが多少押さえつけられるがノーブランドほどではなく1日10時間くらいつけてみたけど許容範囲。 数日つけてみたが、耳は今の所痛くない。音については②よりは良いと感じる。パッド素材の影響かな？ 自分は青赤の色付きにしたので大丈夫だったが、黒を買った人は前後がちゃんとある製品なので取付時に要注意。 ※同じYAXIから出ているM1ST用もあるけどそちらを選ばなかった理由。 写真を見た限りそこまで厚みが変わっていないのと、付け替えたけど耳が痛いと言っている人がある程度いたので厚みがあってかつ本製品の外側素材の方がヘタりにくそうだと判断したのでこちらを買いました。（純正10-11mm この製品17-18mmくらい 計測場所は厚みの縫い目から縫い目なので参考値） 長期で使用してみて痛くなるようならレビューに追記しようと思います。今の所は快適。

These fit my Sony MDR M1 headphones perfectly and were really simple to install. Substantially fill out the sound particulaly in the base: deeper, greater definition. Adds to detail across the spectrum. Seem to slightly widen the sound stage. Very comfortable to wear - although folks who wear glasses, like me, put the cans on first and then your glasses. These headphones do need a tight fit around the ears. Very cool look to these earpads as well with the red and blue liner. Overall, more than happy: upgraded some spectacularly good headphones into something really special. Worth every penny!
