My Husband is a beer drinking, Viking loving man and I bought him this mug because I felt it would be perfect! It was delivered yesterday and of course I was too excited to wait so I let him open it yesterday also (I’m terrible with surprises.) he drank 1 beer out of it last night and sat it on the counter. He just picked it up to use it again and the wood split completely down the side. I usually don’t leave reviews but I’m so disappointed!

My 10oz mug, came out perfect. 10/10. However, my 20oz came out of the box cracked on the bottom. You can see that pretty easily and I noticed that right off the bat. The previous reviews do not lie. The instructions say that heat cracks it, and I don't know the conditions of it's journey here, but I'm still really upset. The cracked one was of course the gift. So the 3 star comes from the non-sturdiness or condition and disappointment. Also, the fact that it's painted gives the impression that it's the light wood from the other type of mug they sell. The rest of my critique is just pretty positive. The wood feels nice and rough, the style is perfect, and like I said, my 10oz is just gorgeous and no seems broken or cracked (for now I guess).

Hmmmm.... okay so props to Amazon i got this a day a head of time. But im disappointed. I got it out of the box and was about to crisen it when I noticed this crack in the wood... now to be fair this has nothing to do with the tankards ability to hold liquid the metal liner is intact. But the fact it came cracked is disappointing because besides that the tankard is awesome.

I had read some reviews saying that they had received cracked mugs, but I thought that surely, by now, they would have fixed this issue. As you can see in the photos however this is not the case. My mug arrived yesterday and the first thing I noticed was the split in the wood along the edge.It's really unfortunate that this seems to be an issue the seller doesn't seem to be doing anything about. The mug is otherwise pretty nice. The fact that I've given a broken item 2 stars instead of 1 says a lot, I think. It's not perfect, but nice. The finish is a little tacky on the skin and the handle is a bit small for my hand. For the price, I would have been happy enough with this mug if it wasn't for the split in the wood. There is also a nice little logo design in the wood on the bottom of the mug which I find a nice touch as well.

My husband loves this mug. He hasn’t used it yet, but he’s super excited. We are concerned about washing it though, since there are gaps in the top that have exposed wood. The handle is fairly rough, but it fits his hand wonderfully. This mug is great if you’re in the market for something that looks cool, but if you want something that’s going to hold up over lots of uses, this might not be it.

I was a little wary about spending $30 on a mug I couldn't see before I bought it, but I was super glad I took the chance. Got it for my husband for christmas and he uses it literally every day. It has withstood being dropped and washed repeatedly and still looks like new. I will probably buy more in the future.

Used these for my bridal party proposals. Hand wash them. They transform any libation drinking experience.

I don't know what I was expecting, but I was still disappointed. It just feels and looks kind of cheap and gimmicky. It looks like something you'd buy from a HomeGoods store. The handle is too small to use properly. The lip of the cup is huge and not very ergonomic for drinking out of.

Such a Shame as I was really looking forward to using this tankard but unfortunately it arrived with three large splits along the grain which not only rendered it unusable it looked awful. I've sent it back for a refund rather than a replacement as I cannot see any longevity in the structure of this product.
