Taste like a regular snack
These locust taste great. Ordered these at least five times. They taste like an actual snack. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend; and buy again, and again.

Gross
My family eats bugs for fun on Christmas to get the kids turnt up. These things are disgusting. I didn't take any stars away from it cuz they're bugs. I thought the lemon and salt would be a good flavor. Boy was I wrong. It's all good cuz it's just for fun but if u eat bugs cuz u enjoy them and think this flavor combination sounds good, I would have to say, they don't. Not even a hint of salt and lemon flavor.

Crunchy, neutral taste, a bit over-spiced
I like to try new and different foods so this seemed like one of those “definitely must try” life experiences. Aside from that, I’ve tried other insect foods in the past, and I’ve heard good things about chapulines. These are crunchy, neutral tasting, and overall good, high in protein, not at all unpleasant to eat. These are not mushy, slimy, gross, or anything stereotypical about insect eating. You can see the shape of the grasshopper, their bodies, heads, and legs, this was a little off-putting to some of my friends, but not to most of them. This brand is reasonably priced, which I liked of course. The grasshoppers are small, so there are a lot of them in the bag.Several of my friends who tried them, all liked them. One said they tasted like spicy fried pork rinds, which isn’t too far off the taste. While I like the chapulines, I would have preferred just a little less of the spice. I am spicy food friendly, but I felt the spice overpowered the food, which made the taste experience a little more neutral. Spicy-crunchy somewhat masking the underlying taste of the chapulines.

Really good
These are a very yummy snack. I got two bags and ate them in one sitting the second time.

I like eat grasshoppers but these are very bad
These are excessively salty, they have no moisture, and they taste stale and old. The grasshoppers just turn into dust when crushed.Because the item isn’t returnable, I just threw them out after trying them twice. I found this to be a frustrating waste of money. If you’re reading this, reconsider your purchase.

Overpowered spices
If it was just lemon and salt I'm sure it wouldn't be bad. However i think It has paprika in it and an overpowering amount. It's not horrible, but not that easy to eat as a snack unless you're crushing beers. Honestly if it was just salt and lemon i would be so much happier. I'm probably going to try another flavor But I chose this flavor because it was supposed to be basic salt and lemon. A little worried what the seasoned will taste like? But again NOT a horrible product. I'm going to add some to my fried rice and probably shower the rest in some hot sauce and vinegar to combat the heavy paprika or whatever it is.

These are delicious! Just need to make larger quantities available for purchase.
I've ordered like 8 bags by this point. These are a tasty snack, I eat them like a bag of chips now. I tried all the flavors and they all taste similar for the most part but Salt and Lemon is definitely my favorite. They're also a great source of protein, I read somewhere that crickets are 60% protein by weight. My only complaint is that the bags are big enough! If the company sees this review, consider making bigger bags with more quantity. I'd certainly buy a bag of these 4x as big.
