I purchased this TerraGreen terrarium for my 6 year old granddaughter. She loves it! The set up was simple and there were enough products and seeds included to set up at least 3 times! As long as the directions are followed, the Chia seeds begin to sprout within 3 days! I love that activated charcoal was included to prevent mold. This is an awesome product!

My 7 year old granddaughter asked for a fairy garden for her birthday. This was one of the nicest sets I could find for my price point. I purchased miniature statues, butterflies, mushrooms to give her design options. Looking forward to watching her put it all together.

Easy to follow instructions. Easy to use/put together. All materials included. This was such a great activity for my son and I to put together. He’s inspired and now wants to do another, but larger.We did modify slightly. We bought one other type of rock to add some variety. We picked up a couple tiny gnomes from local dollar store to put in there for fun. The mushrooms are included. We picked out a succulent each to add, also for fun, and to put our own spin on it. We both had enough supplies leftover to probably do one more- would just need to get another container. I’ve recommended to all of the friends to try.

My 11 year old Is THRILLED! She had it unpackaged moments after it showed up. In her words, "It was packaged beautifully." It came in a nice box protecting the glass and the seeds. With enough to replenish a few times. Its a simple and adorable little gift that she is really proud to show off. I will be getting a few more of these for gifts. Its different and allows them a little freedom and creativity. Really great item!

I don't know....it's a cute little garden but I'm having problems with the moss. It has a strange smell and it's discoloring my other decorations a bright green color. And the mushroom decorations included with the kit have fallen apart-the red color is peeling off the mushrooms and they're styrofoam. I contacted the seller and will update after they respond.**Update** The seller gave me a refund. They acknowledged the defect with the mushroom decorations are a known issue, but the problems I am having with the moss are because I overwatered the plant (the seeds haven't sprouted, so I agree.) Great customer service. I will certainly order from TerraGreen again and be more careful with watering next time.

I’ll probably buy another one of these. My daughter loved it. It was easy to set up, and my daughter loved watching the seeds grow. She took such excellent care of her terrarium. Only problem is she asked her uncle to look after her terrarium while she away for the weekend and he killed it in one day. But, this makes a great gift. My daughter was so happy to receive this as a Christmas present that I’m definitely going to buy her another one.

We didn’t use the open container but put it in a jar instead. We had a mold incident and when I pulled the cute little mushrooms out and rinsed them off, the paint rinsed off of them too. But after I cleaned out the mold and put everything back it worked fine. My daughter talks about how the mushrooms turned from red to pink.
