This worked a treat, my old spool was almost out and came with the Flymo. It was constantly breaking off (maybe due to age, who knows) the spool has been brilliant, I expected one or two breaks but not a single one. 5 stars for me.

I was close to buying a completely new garden strimmer until I found this part on amazon. Fits perfectly and decent price!

Spindle is too small and has to be forced on to Flymo Mini - which will now not come off without potentially damaging the strimmer.Once forced on - the size is clearly too small as you can not release additional line, and as the head doesn’t come off due to being such tight fitting, impossible to release more linePay more and stick with actual manufacturers replacements

Absolute rubbish, despite trimming a bit of the line off as it was overfilled and was still difficult to seat in place on our mini trim st. With 20 seconds of starting the strimmer the spool detached and tangled itself up, in the process just missing my partners ankles as it spun around!! This is downright dangerous and should be pulled from sale!!! I have returned the tangled mess in a card envelope for a refund, I suggest anyone that has experienced similar do the same, Amazon might get the message as their customer service people couldn’t care less..
