Decent starter sit pad
I have a Thermorest sit pad for backpacking but wasn't ready to invest the money into two more for my kids who are newer to hiking. I thought this would be the perfect bridge to be able to provide each of them with a waterproof sit pad.Pros:-Very lightweight-Good price point, especially for 2 pads-Keeps your bum clean and dry in nature!Cons:-Not as large as other sit pads (which could be a pro if you're a gram weenie)-Bubble/divots not as cushiony as other pads I'm used to, many like to use their sit pad as extra padding under their sleep mats in the hip section for side sleepers...not sure this one would help much-Potentially not as rough and tumble as other brands, will see how it holds up-No ability to select colorsThis last one was extremely disappointing to me. All the other reviews/question answers I read all said they got TWO different colors when they received theirs. I received two of the same color. Does not affect performance but since I was ordering them for my kids (and you know how kids are) it would have been nice to have two different colors.⬇️⬇️⬇️ If this review has helped you, please help me by clicking on 'HELPFUL' below. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Thanks!!

Functions way better than the price. Great value.
Prefect lightweight option for that very necessary, but often forgotten camp seat. Sure you can make a nice camp, but aren't we all tired of scrounging up dry logs and ice cold rocks to sit on?! This folding mat is just enough protection to add that awesome touch of comfort after a long day on the trail. I also use it as knee pads when building a fire or setting up the tent. When folded, this mat is completely portable and can fit in a large pocket or ANYWHERE really. In my opinion, there's no reason not to have one as part of one's regular gear. This mat will not last forever intact! But, you can reinforce the seams with a strip of duct tape to extend its life near indefinitely. The only modification that would make this a 5- star product would be some sort of "sciencey" thermal layer to reflect body heat. But at this price, it functions way better than what you pay for.

Lighter Than Expected
I ordered a 2 pack. When the package arrived it felt like it might be empty. It really is that light. That's a huge bonus if you were concerned about weight in your pack . I've only used it a couple of times, but they are comfortable. I am also a very large person at 320 pounds and these work well with the bigger butt in mind

Keeps a dry tushy.
Almost as good as the much-more-expensive Therma-Rest in wonderful colors. Takes a while to get to you but as long as you are not in a hurry, no worries. The quality of foam seems decent but not too dense. Think of it as more of a "keep your butt dry" rather than a cushion.

We are very pleased! Others on our tour asked where we got ...
We took these pads traveling Internationally to be ready to see the sites outside in possible wet conditions. They gave padding and provided a dry place for us to sit over and over again! We are very pleased! Others on our tour asked where we got them, and said they were going to order their own for future trips. Very pleased! We tried others that were sold foam, but folded smaller. They were so dense, they didn't provide any cushion, and when folded that small, we felt they would be wet on all sides after sitting on the wet benches. These worked perfectly! Tucking them in our backpacks for future trips and even to Lacrosse games.

You get what you pay for
This is a cheap little sit pad which is small for an adult but would be okay for a kid. It is not very thick but it does offer some insulation. I will probably only use it as a knee pad around camp and nothing else. For the price it is not bad but if you want to use this to protect yourself from getting dirty or we while sitting on the ground, this one is not the one for you.

Priceless addition to my backpack
Who would of thought such a small, inexpensive, light piece of foam could be a game changer? It is. When you stop for lunch, a quick break or snack, or sitting around camp, this piece of gear is priceless. Just yesterday I stopped along a trail and forgot to pull it out. The rock was so hard on the bum. Then I remembered this bad boy and wah chang: instant comfort. Unbelievably good. And so easy to pack! Fits on the inside or outside of your back and adds virtually no weight, but a ton of comfort.

Exactly What I Needed
I bought this product to use as a sit pad after getting a bunch of sap on myself on two different hikes. I don't think I'll ever go back! This made my breaks far more comfortable when sitting on rocks or beneath sappy trees, and made mornings sitting on the ground noticeably warmer. I even ended up using it to prop up my sleeping pillow at night to make side sleeping more comfortable. This was the perfect size for me; I wouldn't want to have to carry around anything bigger or find a way to attach it to my pack.My only complaints would be that I wish you could choose the colors you receive (I got the two that I was most hoping to avoid), and that it doesn't seem incredibly durable. After a three-day backpacking trip, I see a couple of chunks missing from the foam. However, for the price/weight/value this provides, I will absolutely be buying more.
