In my opinion, this book feels written for the soul that is uber creative and wants to take that step into their glory but something is holding them back. Maybe not knowing if they are good enough or if it's worth the risk, maybe a bad habit whatever. It helps to ignite your audacity to shine and lets you know that not only can you shine but you owe your sparkle to the world and to round all of that out the book highlights the importance of the health of one's soul. There are great stories and life lessons, it's funny and empowering. She also mentions a book that helped her and Rupaul back in the day(Ru gave it to her) and I bought that too and it's freakin' amazing...like amazing! I won't tell you what it is cause you have to read this to find out.

Bought this because we're big fans of Drag Race. Interesting to learn more about Michelle's life (even after all these seasons I had no CLUE who she was before Drag Race). My opinion of Ru changed a bit after reading this book, tho.If you are someone who struggles to "be yourself" or you aren't taking action on pursuing your goals and dreams, there is some good advice in this book.

This book is amazing and real. Through sharing her experiences with the reader, and being completely honest about what she shares, Michelle pulls the reader into her story. She is able to pull out emotions through her stories and advice, and it is almost like hearing from a dear friend. Thank you Michelle-This book will remain on my bookcase for ease of grabbing it and reminding myself of your advice, and I will be recommending and gifting it to all!

I first read the audio version of this book, and then got the hardcover because I wanted to blog about it and wanted to be able to flip through for favorite passages. Both versions have their advantages. Since it is narrated by the author, the audio version gets my heartiest vote; her delivery is FANTASTIC! But I am also glad I got the hard copy because its design demonstrated what a truly unique book this is. The table of contents is in blocks instead of linear; the inner lining is hot pink zebra. It breaks convention in a fun way that doesn't detract from the excellent life advice contained in the book's pages.More in my blog inspired by the book: [...]

Michelle Visage very candidly tells you her story, her rise to fame in the New York club scene, as a radio personality and then ultimately as the true diva we know and love on RuPaul's Drag Race. She does not sugar coat things, but does give some loving advice by someone who has struggled and persevered. Read this if you want some laughs, some good advice and a great story.

Michelle Visage tells her story of growing up, becoming part of the drag/vogue community, becoming famous (and not so famous) and how you can use her life lessons to be fabulous yourself. While I'd like more detail about her trip to and through stardom, thus volume is a fun, easy read for anyone who is a fan of any of the stages of the famous Michelle Visage.

The book came right on time! I just started reading it and I am already in love! Michelle give great advice and is definitely a page turner! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone, whether gay or straight! She really does have the best advice for everyone! And goes about everything in a loving manner. Give this book a read, you will enjoy it!

My new obsession! This book is an uplifting advice filled joy. It shows Michelles vibrant personality throughout with amazing anecdotes threaded between bursts of knowledge and wisdom and should be read by any and every DIVA in training

A great, honest read, one to definitely again. Diva to the core, a rough ride but when you have friends by your side they ride the bumps with you. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

If you love rupauls drag race you'll love this, all T no shade this is hands down one of the best books I have read in a long time and a great set of rules to live by
