I bought this for a costume. For the price I am pleased.SIZE: I normally am a US Medium but I went by the waist measurements and ordered the 2XL... that was hard on my ego but when it arrived it fit fine. The back has satin ribbon so if you wanted to change the color or needed more string (for more width) that would be an easy fix. The back has a small fabric bit so you can loosen the lacing a bit and it won't look too funny. That extra give I would say is about 2".FUNCTIONALITY: As far as actually being a corset/tummy-tucker I am not sure on the strength of it. The lacing might give out and the front claps are rather cheap (feel like aluminum pop tabs and small nails essentially). But as a costume accessory it is just fine.

I'm not usually one to write reviews unless I really love something! I LOVE this corset. I have never been able to find a corset that fits how I want. I struck gold with this. I bought this to wear under my wedding dress to suck in the stomach bulge and make it nice and flat. It does exactly what I want it to. Makes my stomach flat and my waist tiny. I measured in between a large and xl. I went ahead with the large. I double thought my decision after purchase and wondered if I would have to send it back. Nope! Fits amazing! It was so easy to lace. I was thinking my fiance would have to lace it for me. All I did was try it on and kept loosening the laces until it got to where I wanted and then tied it. Only took me two times. I am so happy with this purchase and can't wait to see it under my wedding dress!

I recently purchased the steel boned underbust corset size 4xl (I'm 6'2" 210# Size 36x34 pants size male - fairly proportional in size). I bought this in part to try to address some poor posture. The sizing chart is fairly accurate..do not go by clothing sizes rather measure your chest, waist and hips. I measured around 38" waist and wanted to wear it tight so I purchased the 4XL (Size 35.5"-37.5") I was able to wear this comfortably with the laces tied tight - I do not get the nice hourglass cinch in the middle like the pictures show but I do get support and a much better posture. I'm guessing if I went with a 3XL the the appearance might be a little different.The second day I wore this I could lace it nearly completely tight with just a fingers distance between the closure in the back near the top. This makes me think I should have gone for a 3XL instead. That being said I rated this a 4/5 stars. For the price you can't really beat this one, especially if it's available through Prime. The fabric is sturdy and the stitching appears to be done very well. The only reason I did not rate this 5/5 is the laces aren't the best and the finish on the edges isn't the best.

For those that don't know, corset sizes and shirt sizes are not the same thing, and if you can get it on without loosening up the lacing it's too big. That being said these do not run small, they fit how they're supposed to. I was honestly surprised that this actually was steel boned considering the price and that many sellers fib about that on Amazon. It was stiff, but completely comfortable; you're not going to find a corset this quality so cheap anywhere. I'm beyond pleased.

I absolutely love this corset! I wanted one for the purpose of bettering my posture, and it works EXCELLENT. I've seen some of the other reviews complaining that it isn't steel boned but including a picture of one that is listed as plastic boned in the production description. Make sure you actually select the steel boned options, not all of them are. I've had my fair share of cheap and poorly made corsets, this is amazing quality for the price! The boning is definitely steel, and the material is pretty hefty and durable. Super comfortable to wear as well.

I bought this for a party. I wear it under clothes,and I feel myself looked thin, It makes me happy!this corset is amazing for it's price! it's a little more fancy but you can wear it under your clothes but the boning and material is pretty strong. so If you're trying to go for an ALL DAY wear, I, personally, would go with something more breathable and malleable to more movement. the lace string in the back is really pretty too. Oh yes, you can make it go tighter or looser in the back, it will change your waist by 20-30%...

This is advertised as a spiral steel boning corset and it is NOT! The boning is plastic. It also runs very large. My waist is 37 and I ordered a size down from the reccomendation and it is still too big. The fabric it’s made out of is decent quality but nothing I’m thrilled with. There is also about 3/4 a cm gap in the front, which if you are wearing a color other then black will be exposed as a vertical stripe. I ordered it for my larp kit but am worried it won’t make it through one event. For a few uses a fashion, would work well with the correct size. But for larp/costuming/cosplay, would not really recommend.

Ordered according to my waist measurements and it fits perfectly, learning how to put it on was a bit of a learning curve, but it's sturdy, made out of good material and there's nothing at all that I can complain about considering the price. Only downside is that my cat has managed to chew through the laces with absolutely no effort required on her part, but those are easily replaced.
