I purchased this for my daughter. She has type 3 curls. First time ever using it recently. I paired it with shea moisture detangler and a different brand gel. This cream does the job and smells amazing. I was really impressed. She had ringlets of curls. Great buy. The curls held for several days afterward. Made her curls look healthy too. The product came brand new and sealed. It did not make her hair hard, but super soft. Made me happy I chose the right product after MONTHS of research! All I do is research lol

Great styling cream for curly hair. It is not as good as Aveda but if you can’t afford $30 it is the next best thing! I have tried many.

After a few weeks of use, here’s my honest review.Pros:Moisture & Hydration:One of the biggest positives for us is the moisturizing effect this cream has. Her curls can sometimes feel dry, but after using this, her hair feels softer and more hydrated. The Coconut Oil and Hibiscus Extract do a great job of locking in moisture, which is always a win when you have curly hair that tends to dry out easily.Scent:The fragrance is a big plus! It has a pleasant, tropical scent that’s not too overpowering, which I appreciate since some hair products can be quite strong. It’s refreshing and leaves her curls smelling good all day long without lingering too much.Curl Definition:This cream does provide decent curl definition—especially when used with the right technique. I did notice that her curls were more defined after applying the product, and the texture wasn’t crunchy or stiff, which is a huge plus. It also helped with frizz control, which is always a concern.Cons:Heavy for Fine Curls:While this product is rich and moisturizing, it feels a little heavy for her finer curls. I noticed that it sometimes weighed her hair down, leaving it looking flat rather than voluminous. If you have fine or low-density curls, you may find this cream a bit too thick and not the best for creating that bouncy curl look.Inconsistent Hold:We had mixed results when it came to hold. Love how well this works on kids curly hair. I’ve never used a lotion before and this stuff smells great, absorbs well and makes for soft curls.
