I have ordered other Little Giraffe blankets before direct from Little Giraffe. The option to order from Amazon seemed convenient but I did not think the quality of these blankets are the same. Returning these chenille and ordering the luxe direct from Little Giraffe.

Purchased this for my daughter who is 3! She had the polka dot luxe mini blanky when she was 3months + ! .. I do notice that the chenille Is not the same fluffy fabric as the small blanky. I do however think the LUXE version is closer to the small size blanky.. this one however is perfectly soft! :)

We have given this as a gift quite a few times. Babies adore it’s softness. I know several children who have kept them well past toddlerhood!

It's true that the Little Giraffe Chenille blanket is not as thick and plush as the ones made 5 or 6 years ago. However, it's still a beautiful blanket and I'm glad I was able to find and purchase it for the newest granddaughter. Her big brother is 5 and still must sleep with his. He has two of the older model (thicker) so one can rotate through the wash. The binding is still in good condition. Holds up unbelievably.

I first ordered two such blankets for my sons. we really liked it! and my daughter wanted the same one. but the third blanket came another! not so soft and pleasant to the touch! completely different quality! I am very disappointed, as I would like my daughter to have a good blanket as well. considering that it is not cheap, it's a pity to spend money.

We are a loyal Little Giraffe purchaser and have purchased over 30 in 10 years for gifts and for our own children. These blankets hold up and wear well over numerous years of cuddling, being drug around to every location and being washed countless times. We love little giraffe blankets and there is no better value.

My word celebs have such influence. Due to this being a celeb fav for their mini celeb babies, the price tag has started to reflect it. Now don't get me wrong, you pay good money for good quality and thankfully enough for the buyers, this is top quality.First off, this is beyond soft! I mean seriously how soft can a blanket be? I actually felt like keeping it for myself!, even if it is pink. I think if it's washed delicately and looked after to some extent, it can last a while and i don't see my baby girl letting this go for a loooong time.Is it worth the price tag? Its top quality but like another review mentioned, there must be a cheaper alternative to this pricey one. But again, you get what you pay for!

The little Giraffe Chenille Baby blanket is really special. While somewhat pricey, it is worth it for a extra special blanket for a treasured love one. These blankets are amazingly soft and snugly. Even after washing the delicate softness remains. The blankets are well made, strong, delicately soft and have delightfully silky edges. My daughter loves hers and will treasure it for many years to come. A Great gift for a young baby.

This is a lovely blanket to buy for your child. It's luxuriantly soft and snuggly, the sweetest shade of milkshake pink, and thick enough to endure plenty of cuddles - it really gives the impression of quality when you hold and touch it. The satin edges are the perfect finish, and it comes wrapped in an organza bow. It's the kind of thing you would be proud to give a special little loved one as a birthday, Christmas or Christening present.The asking price, however, is a bit of a joke. Almost £60 for a blanket? Apparently in the US (where they are made) they often sell for over $100, so either the Americans are going mad or I am because I just don't have that much to spend on a blanket! My advice - at least until the price goes down - is to search for a brand that doesn't cost the earth. There are plenty of other soft children's blankets out there for more reasonable prices.Apparently Angelina Jolie and Katie Holmes used this brand! Well, good for them. They can afford it.

If you can justify the expense this is a wonderful blanket for babies, its so soft and snuggly my little girl just loves it and makes nappy change time so much easier
