Bonded leather, okay for the price
There's nothing wrong with it for the price, I didn't have any issues with the hardware as other reviews mentioned, I would say just don't over tighten. The sling itself is fine, although don't expect full grain leather, it's bonded, but finished well enough. Think of a cheap "genuine leather" belt from Walmart and that will be close. As far as weather or not it's Buffalo, given where it's made it made be water Buffalo, but I have no way of knowing. There's no "antiquing" on mine, it's a uniform color with no distressing or anything. If you were to bend the sling inward instead of outward, the thin leather strip on top would wrinkle, so consider that if you want to use it on a rifle and wrap your fore hand around it, if that matters to you. For the price it's perfectly fine and should hold most firearms well. Three stars from me.

Great sling, weak screws.
Bought this sling for my Marlin Model 60. The leather is nice and seems high quality. However, the screws that come with it are not the best. I snapped one off trying to snug it down. Luckily they must have heard of this problem before and included an extra one. You should be ok if you don't tighten it down as tight as you would like. Other than that I really like the sling and think it should do just fine for the role I have it in. Four stars.

Worked perfect on my MAS.
Thick leather. I wanted the color to match my MAS better so I treated it with mink oil to protect it and darken the color.

Good for the price
For less than $15 I wasn't expecting much. It is an inexpensive leather sling, which is what I wanted for a small .22 rifle. It fit the bill for what I needed. So, for the price, it is five stars. If you want something better you have to spend much more money.

A fine, simple, classic-looking sling
I've bought three of these now, which I'm using on classic carbines. They look sharp, the quality is good, and the price-point is exceptional.

Somewhat cheaply made.
The item is a little bit cheaply made in looks and feel but I was in a rush so what else to expect for 20.- $

Looks good on classic firearms
So far so good. Time will tell if this will last. It does look good on field O/U shotguns with swivel mounts and lever action rifles.

Great Buy to keep a classic rifle looking that way.
Beautiful sling. Went together nicely. Looks amazing on my classic 870 Wingmaster. Great buy for the money. Would gladly review more products on my YouTube channel.
