I always loved the look of the TMP gold, but wanted one that was completely edible. This is seriously the best edible gold I have ever tried, and I’ve tried a ton! I did 2 coats on roughly 4 dozen cookies and still have more than half the bottle left. I tasted a cookie when it was still a little wet, the taste of the gold wasn’t great. BUT once they dried completely, I couldn’t taste anything but the cookie and icing. It did seem a little pricy for the size of the bottle, but overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I decided to try this product simply bc it had a faster shipping date than the poppy paint (which is what I normally use and absolutely love.) I needed this right away and had heard great thing.This product runs, it absolutely doesn't not dry fast at all so if you're in a pinch and need something quick this isn't the product to use. It smells as well and has a bitter taste that I didn't like. Not worth the price.Save yourself the Hassel and just buy poppy paint.

I got the glamorous gold and it was the perfect color for my princess crowns! It was easy to work with and did not alter the taste at all. Two tips…1. Do not use white and then try to paint. It will not look good. I used yellow icing and it worked perfectly! 2. Make sure your icing is completely dry before painting on. I messed up one cookie and dented the icing because it wasn’t dry yet.

If you mess up you can sort of wipe it off and restart, but be careful because I can leave a residue behind that you might have to paint over.I typically take a paper towel and wipe the chocolate off first to kind of buff the surface. Otherwise the paint will kind of bead up.

I liked the gold color of the product. I feel like most cookies only required one coat. I did give less stars because of taste. Once completely dried there is a small aftertaste. It may have been more noticeable to me because I accidentally tried some when it was still partially wet. It was horrible when not dried completely. I also noticed that the paint would ball a little or have pebble like texture. I am not sure why that happened. It didn’t happen every time but sometimes.

First time using shiny metallic gold ready-to-use edible paint. Brushed on crusted buttercream better than I expected. I didn’t taste it but my husband said it didn’t taste very well when painting the bottom part of the cake cookie. So recommend only using small amounts. Liked that it was already mixed and to the consistency I needed. Painted onto frozen frosting using a stencil. While it looked okay, I think it would have worked better to thicken with some powdered sugar maybe then paint over stencil and scrape off. Thick enough that it did not fall off brush and become messy.

Great viscosity, great color coverage, antique gold was as expected color wise.

Easy to apply and looks fantastic! Used for a homemade fault-line birthday cake.

I was also painting chocolates and thought I would taste them to find out how nice they are and the paint is disgusting, agree with other users, this taste like bleach.You should be ashamed of yourselves selling inedible products.

Used this for a novelty cake and was pleased how intense the colour is. It needed 2 coats but the results were great. Just remember to give the bottle a good shake before using.
