I really like Alter Eco's cacao! The mint is my favorite, though I have tried several others. The mint is a gentle refreshing flavor. Although this bar is 90% dark cacao, the taste isn't nearly as bitter as most other bars at this percent dark.

If you want to be addicted to something, order Alter's Mint Chocolate. My favorite Chocolate of all time. It's like Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mints, but better. Granular bits of Mint and Sugar, and silky Chocolate that melts in your mouth... you may eat a bar a day.

I hesitated on purchasing these because of some of the reviews. It went on special and I finally bought it. So glad I did! I don’t know what happened with the other reviews but don’t let that stop you. I haven’t found a 90% peppermint chocolate bar anywhere and this one is absolutely amazing! Wow! Remember that it isn’t going to be super sweet but the flavor and texture makes up for it! Buy it!

My husband says this is one of the healthiest chocolates out there. It’s high in dark choco content but not as bitter. I like the sea salt one too and I don’t like sea salt flavors much!! When it’s on a sale, I stock it up!!

I have searched a long time for a super dark chocolate bar that also has mint in it. The darkest I have seen were only around 70%-72%, so I was pleased to find this Super Dark Mint Crisp 90% dark chocolate bar by Alter Eco. I was hesitant to try it, since their Blackout and Super Blackout dark chocolate bars have a really chemical taste to me that I have not noticed from other brands. This mint flavored bar is much better with a cleaner taste, but the mint is really not as strong as I would prefer. The price is quite high considering the small size and weak flavor, but I like the crisps that add more to the texture and the milder taste without too much bitterness or odd flavorings that many of their other varieties have. I would buy this one again if the price was lower.

I love the crunchy bits of mint in the tasty dark chocolate.

This is the best mint chocolate I've ever tasted. Period.
