Good water leak alarm
Loud sound so it definitely makes you aware of water leaks. The batteries are easy to replaced. Overall, it's a great product.

Works as advertised
I set this up for my sump pump. Tested it on the kitchen sink first. It works for the slightest drop of water. Definitely can hear it from my basement. Only con I've found is that it only goes off for a minute. So if you miss that one minute, you don't know you're flooding

It works
I used this to sense possible water leaks behind my built-in fridge. It is an advantage to have a long sensor cable, so I placed it inside the drywall to the bottom. I also tested it before putting it in place and it sounds when touched to water.

Does what it’s supposed to
When water touched it when testing, the alarm went off. That’s why I bought it...so far it looks like it should prevent the basement flooding without my knowledge...hope is that it never has to go off!

Cannot be trusted
Buyer beware. This alarm is innacurate and will wake you up out if a dead sleep for no reason. It doesnt work, flooded my carpet too many times by not alarming. Chucked it in the trash. Cannot be trusted

Inexpensive and works
This is an inexpensive way to have an alarm in case the sump pump stops working. Arrived quickly. Works great. Hope I never have to use it but glad it is there just in case.

Not to be trusted!
This alarm only works when it feels like it. I use it when filling 5 gallon buckets from my RO/DI system and I have caught it many times with the sensor submerged and it was not going off. Batteries test good, I have tried turning it off/on and disconnecting/reconnecting the batteries to reset it but no luck. An inconsistent sensor is no better than not having a sensor at all.
