Don't need to put your running shoes on with this spray
Works as advertised. This spray is awesome on wasps and hornets if you don't want to get stung. I've used this spray on nests that have approximately 100 wasps on them and had no issues with killing them all. Knocks them down immediately, so you don't have to put your running shoes on before spraying them. If you do spray a nest be sure to do it first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening when all the wasps are back at the hive. If you spray in the middle of the day you will miss over 60% of the wasps. This is a contact killer, so you do need to spray them directly. This spray is better than other contact killers because it sprays more accurately and easily. Some of the other sprays out their don't have as good of a stream or trigger.Pros: Kills wasps from range of about 20ft, knockdown killer keeps you from getting stung, better than similar productsCons: If you're nearing the end of the can it doesn't spray 20ft, so be prepared.

It works!
The product works. A small hornets nest was on the outside of my house in the front. I brought this spray off Amazon and followed the instructions when using it. I coated the hornets nest with the spray and it coated the nest nicely. After a while the spray disolved and the next day I sprayed the nest again. No more hornets and I feel like the spray really softened the nest where it was starting to fall off my house. Good product and would recommend.

Great for wasps, but struggled with more heavily armored foes
I have nothing against bees and promote their health and well-being whenever possible. Wasps and hornets, I have slightly less love for, but with whom I have had a comfortable arrangement: "don't mess with me/mine, and I won't mess with you/yours." Then, "they drew first blood not me" - John Rambo. After being stung 11 times in the span of a week, I was left with little choice but to reclaim my territory. I grabbed a can of Hot Shot in my catcher's-mitt sized swollen hand and unleashed a chemical fury--- Paper wasps (Mid Atlantic) died on contact. In fact about a millimeter from contact, they were stiff-legged, abdomen up. After a few seconds of respectful silence, it was on to the yellow jackets. I sprayed and they yawned. I sprayed again and they gave me that "really?!" look. I sprayed again, and they got noticeably irritated! This particular combatant is exceedingly difficult to kill with sprays, so I wasn't surprised, but it took a lot of juice to take them down. I think they may have drowned in the quantity of liquid or from resulting pneumonia more quickly/effectively than from acute toxicity. Moral of the story for wasps, and I assume other "delicate" insects, it worked great. For heartier, angrier bugs/hornets, keep your running shoes on!

Dont let the distance fool you...
This sprayed arrived without issue, and worked as described with the exception of the distance it would spray. I have a two story home so naturally I figured with a 27ft spraying radius this product would get the job done. I was wrong I ended up having to get a ladder in order to spray the nests. Which meant I had to be on a ladder while I was spraying agitated wasps. All in all though once sprayed the wasps died eventually (within 5 minutes). So just be aware that 27ft turns into about 10ft if you are spraying upwards, and its even worse if there is any wind.

So happy I bought this
I live in a condo with a very high roof that wasps seem to love. I thought I would have to hire a professional to deal with them given how many nests I had high up and in awkward spots, but given the price of the spray I figured at worst I would have lost s few bucks and then use this as regular bug spray, and at best would save a lot of money by dealing with the issue myself. I truly believed there was no way out would spray as far as I needed, and I'm happy to report I was wrong. I dealt with all the nests on my own.Two things to consider:1) if you do need to spray really fast away or high up, the can needs to be probably more than half full to reach. However, because I had 3 cans I was still able to get all the nests. I do now have 3 half full cans (isn't that optimistic?) That I won't be able to use for future nests, but I can still use them as regular bug spray2) at all but one angle that I had to spray in, the stuff rained back down on me. Depending on the angle you use it in you might want to wear a mask, goggles, and long sleeves, or use something like an umbrellaThose things said, for a low price I dealt with all the wasps nests and impressed my family with my mad exterminator skills. I will definetly repurchase this item again for next year's wasp season.
