Did the job . Very happy.

Decent quality.
Seems to be decent enough. Switch operates from a good distance which allows for some play on whatever is being protected. Time will tell regarding longevity.

Well made but field strenght might be an issue
worked well in testing, but would not work when attached to a stainless steel structure. Clearly the structure did not allow the magnetic field strength to activate the switch.

N.O not N.C.
I bought this switch for a garage door alarm.It doesn't actually state if this is a normally open or normally closed in the description, but from the questions/reviews it appeared to be N.C. which is what I required.When testing before fitting I discovered that it is actually a N.O. 😖Appears to be no marking on the label stating which varient it is either.It's a shame as on testing it seems to work really well, with a good range, just opposite to what I need...

It's a normally closed switch
The description although accurate is incomplete in that it fails to say it is a normally closed switch. This is not what I wanted so had to return it. This was disappointing as it is a nice looking switch with a robust sensing distance that would make installation simple and less fiddly than alternative micro switches
