I paid $8.88 for this hat. Wasn't sure if I wanted a foldable hat so I bough this inexpensive one to find out. Only this black one and I think one other color were this price. The other colors were about a dollar more. The one I got doesn't have the mesh on the sides.I've only had the hat a few days, but so far I like it. If it holds up well, I'd likely buy another one.Regarding the longer front visor. I was concerned about that, but once I got the hat on I don't think it's an issue at all. I'm an adult. I say I have a medium-large head. I wear a LG hat size. So, on me the visor looks proportional. If you're a small person, a child, and have kind of a small head, you might think it's longish.However, I've started wearing hats more often to protect my face and top of my head from the sun. Having a little longer visor is actually preferable to me.Regarding the quality. The clasp in the back does look a little weak, but it should suffice. I also get the extra band might not stay tucked away. It has for me so far though.Some mentioned stitching that came undone. I did notice that there were about 4 loose threads when I got the hat. I trimmed those off and used a lighter to singe the ends. I think that if you don't do that, you could easily catch it and pull the stitching out.This isn't a $50 baseball hat. I paid $8.88. It's a great hat for the money. It's lightweight, keeps the sun off my face, the fabric is soft and if I have an itch, I can scratch it through the material. It seems to breath fine. and it stays on my head well. I think it looks good and my wife agreed.Like I said, I've only had it a few days. If it doesn't fall apart anytime soon... I'll likely buy another one in a different color.RecommendedUPDATE: I've now been using this hat for 3 weeks and it's holding up well.I can tell that the extra visor length is preferable to me. It keeps the sun off my face better throughout the day and I don't have to tilt it down in late afternoon.TIP: The strap on the back doesn't stay put as well as I would like. I fixed that by folding it over to double it's thickness, then feed it back through the plastic buckle. Holds well now.I've worn this hat in the pouring rain a few times now. I like the extra visor length for holding my rain coat hood off my face. The cap dries quickly and keeps it's form even when wetAdded this hat back on my wish list. Next sale... I'm going to buy another one :)

This hat will be great for fishing and running. It is lightweight almost like not having one on your head. Great features of being water resistant and the UPF sun protection!

This is so versatile and really cute. I have porcelain skin and I would like to keep it that way. I'll use this for our tropical vacation and for also for running. As you would expect. If you want good protection, this is a fine hat.

This unisex cap fits my husband but not me, I could not get the closure tight enough. I purchased the purple version, which is really a bright pink with purple mesh. I like the folding brim, washability, and the sun protection. The brim is too big to wear sunglasses underneath. Notice you don't see any photos with someone wearing glasses. The closure doesn't stay closed. Too bad, it seems hard to find a cap with sun protection UPF that fits.

It’s the one he packs when we go on vacation. It’s three part folding bill is plenty long for sun-blocking. It’s lightweight so it’s cool. When we move from outside to sightseeing indoors he doesn’t have to keep it on his noggin; just folds and stows.

Great Hat with UPF! Folds into thirds, fits neatly into jacket pocket.Easy to clean & dries quickly.Caveat -- The excess from tightening the adjustment strap does not stay tucked into the sleeve. It keeps falling out, creating a "tail" hanging from the back of the cap.

Very lightweight, well ventilated, has good airflow, excellent for hot weather. Folds exactly as described and fits easily in your pocket. The brim is longer, provides good sun protection and keeps its shape well on your head. I bought it for my husband, he wears it everywhere and is very pleased with the purchase. I would definitely buy another one and recommend it.
