Good scrappers for hard to get to places and odd shapes. I have an 125 year old house, with nice woodwork under layers of decades of bad painting jobs and mechanical neglect. Take for example, old time wooden entryway doors. Nice old doors but requires removing old paint to bare wood. The work to remove pain on flat surfaces goes pretty fast using expensive carbide scrappers. The time consuming part is getting paint removed from recessed and contour surfaces. These scrappers do the job. The scraping material is steel, no carbide, so the edgess of these scrappers require sharpening frequently to be effective, using a small Mill file and medium grit and fine grit oil stone. Great scrappers.

Good quality, sturdy. Perfect for getting into grooves and tight corners. It comes with three different blades, perfect for many projects. I would highly recommend.

This is the best stripping tool I’ve used as it allows you to work around many shapes and contours. You have to be careful as it can gouge the surface you’re stripping if you move too fast or put too much pressure on the tool, but overall it works great.

I like the comfortable grip and longer shaft. Interchangeable blades fasten securely. Blades all had burrs on the upper surface, but a few strokes with a ceramic sharpening rod fixed that. Some blade edges are a little sharper than others, one capable of shaving off fine wood curls, others just scraping a powder, but for removing old laquer, varnish, or grunge, that's fine. Overall, a very useful addition to my woodshop.

If you're using a liquid or gel paint stripper this is one of the tools you'll need. It works amazingly well at removing softened paints on surfaces and tight corners, though it would be nice to also have a couple extra handles to go with the other blades so I wouldn't have to change out the blades as I need them.

I absolutely love this scraper set. This is my 3rd set due to mysterious disappearances (LOL!) JK! Seriously though if you want a good scraper for those weird crevices in your wood this is the set to have.
