Great watch for the price!
This is a good looking watch. I think the advertised dimensions for width is based on the crystal, not the case, so it's a bit larger than anticipated. It's still a nice watch for the price and has worn very well since my purchase about 14 months ago. I've swapped out the band a few times with various nato bands of different colors which has been a fun and inexpensive way of changing how it looks. I've worn this watch at my job, doing house and yard work, and playing outdoors. It still looks like new and had never had any issues despite a couple of times dropping it or banging it in to various stationary objects. This is my first Seiko and I would not hesitate to recommend the brand and model of watch. One thing to note is that it loses a minute or two every week with daily use. Not a big deal to me, but worth mentioning. It's mechanical so having to adjust the time once a week doesn't surprise me.I've owned several similarly priced watches by Movado and Skagen. Neither brand has worn or functioned this well.

Simplicity is a good thing
I was given a Seiko automatic watch by my father over 40 years ago and it still works (although I do not wear it much any more). After much research I settled on the SNZG15 as a new Seiko that I could wear regularly. Much has been written about the accuracy and quality of this product and I concur that it is a great watch. Comfortable band, easy to read numbers, very good luminescent markings, and a cool window into its inner workings in the back. It does not have the whistles and bells of the solar-powered, multi-timezone digital Casio that I also own, but sometimes simplicity is a good thing. The Amazon vendor who sent the watch (Island Watch of New York) was amazingly fast in getting it to me (even with free shipping) and they provided all Seiko documentation including the warranty.

This is a terrific watch. It looks good and wears good
I simplified my watch by going from a battery operated chronograph with functions that I did not use to a day/date automatic self-winding watch. This is a terrific watch. It looks good and wears good. The watch is "military or LEO style" with a 24 hour clock face. The graduated markings around the face of the watch and all hands are luminous. The watch is just what I hoped it would be. It met all of my expectations. The company shipped the watch right away, USPS 2nd day priority mail, and there was no charge for shipping. Note that the self-winding watch is meant to be worn at least 8-hours per day. If not worn for about two days, the watch will come to a complete stop. This is not really a problem... just move the watch back and forth for a few seconds and then reset the time. When your watch is ready for its next battery change, mine will still be running. That was always part of the plan.

This is a great watch for casual wear
This is a great watch for casual wear, with that flieger military style.I give it four stars for rugged and reliable movement(7s36),good strong stainless steel case with viewable back, hardlex cyrstal, and easy to use crown. The one fault I have is with the strap, seems almost like an afterthought,I'll probably put a nato or Zulu strap on it.At 42mm it's perfect for 7inch wrist, very comfortable and looks good.Easy to read Arabic numbers gives this watch high marks for those minumalist out there. All in all an excellent watch for less than $200.00.

Would not warranty.
Bought March 2022. First off I will say is that I like the looks of the watch. Now the issues. From day one it lost 1 to 2 minutes a day. Ok can handle that, adjust and move on. In June I did notice it would not hold a charge for more than 1-1/2 days after wearing all week. Then over Thanksgiving it stopped running 15 minutes after taking it off, every time. Emailed Seiko about the issue. The email response was “You can send it in but to be under warranty I had have the retail certificate” I honesty do not remember this certificate being in the box. The certificate had to be signed by the retailer. I told them that I could produce a invoice from Amazon but they told me that would not work. They went on to tell me I could send it in and pay for a repair but checking their site it shows the sports line had a $395.00 repair fee. What? The watch was under $200. I have always Liked Seiko but they have lost me as a customer from this point on.

Good watch
This is a great watch. The strap is not great, it is hard and stiff but I am swapping it out anyway. It is a mechanical watch so it does not have quartz accuracy, just be aware of mechanical accuracy when purchasing. I am not crazy about the seller though. The watch came in a generic Seiko box and the manual did not fit inside the box and was plastic wrapped to the exterior of the box almost like the seller had it as a display item and just grabbed a box to stuff it in. The warranty card was stamped and dated but I am not sure Seiko will honor the warranty because of this. And it all came in a paper envelope bag so the shipping container sucked, considering I have had better packaging on much cheaper items than this almost $200 watch.

Except that it loses time every day, I really like the watch.
Update: The longer I have this watch, the less I like it. No matter how active I am or even if I attempt to wind it by other means, it continues to lose about 5 minutes a day. I would suggest just finding a manual or battery alternative.I really do like the look and style of the watch. It is very easy to read and in every respect except one, it is a great watch at a reasonable price. I would like this watch a whole lot more if it kept accurate and consistent time. Unfortunately, I have to reset the watch at least once a week as it consistently loses 3-4 minutes a week. It is not an issue of it stopping, and it is adequately wound as I am active throughout the day. It just does not keep reliable time over a single week. If you don't mind resetting the time each week to adjust for the lost minutes, it is a great watch.
