Zombelina (Zombelina, 1)

I searched high and low for a zombie book for children because my husband and I are die-hard zombie fans (pun intended), and we don't want our baby girl to be afraid of zombies. When I found Zombelina on Amazon I did a little happy dance and ordered a copy right away. When I got the book in the mail and read it to my daughter for the first time I was overjoyed by the perfection of this book! The rhyming text is oh-so-clever, and the story is too cute. The pictures are also to die for, and the last page just tickled me to death! I love that there's humor that parents can appreciate too.Zombelina is my new favorite children's book, and I'm going to be reading it to my daughter for years to come! I couldn't be happier that I found this gem of a book. A big thank you to Kristyn Crow for writing such a darling zombie story for children. Well done!

Fun story about a girl zombie learning and performing ballet. Words and illustrations connect together well. Illustrations are interesting. Slightly different story the "Vampirina," moral to the story isn't quite as overt. Although there are a couple of rough spots in the fliw, readability and flow are much better than "Vampirina." Preschool through middle grade elementary school would find this book enjoyable.

This is one of my four year olds favorite book! The illustrations and storyline are great! Zombelina loves to dance and is enrolled into ballet class. Her unique moves may gross out some of her classmates but her teacher thinks she is great! Zombelina practices everyday and on the day of her recital she gets stage fright...but once she hears her family cheering her on her stage fright disappears!

Love this book! My 3 y.o. daughter loves Halloween and ballerinas... believe it or not.... and this book captures them both. Illustrations are very nice. Would totally buy again.

My 7 year was fascinated by this book last night at bedtime. She hung on my every word as I read it to her and she says her favorite part was "all of it"! I love the sense of family unity that this book portrays and the pictures are lovely!

I bought this as a gift for my nephew. We've borrowed it from the library several times before purchasing. Sweet story and attractive artwork, with a positive message about family and being yourself. I highly reccommend it!

my daughter loves pink and glitter but is not a girly girl. she loves zombies and loves to read, but nothing too scarey. This book was sweet and cute, we had to buy another copy for one of her friends. Perfect for little girls!

Fab story. Rhyming style is a favourite with my daughter (and my husband). Original story, always lovely to see ballet and dance teamed with some more fun storylines (rather than just pretty pink, flowery princesses etc)
