A Delightful Treat
Cobalt Aquatic Shrimp Pellets is a great addition to compliment a complete diet of other Cobalt fish foods. What I love about this item is that the pellets provide a nutritional diet for optimal health, color, and great digestion. After months of using this product, I decided to purchase the item in bulk - 8lbs instead of ordering another 10.75 oz since I have over 24 aquariums. What I noticed about the food is that is the quality is exquisite; however, according to experts, it is not recommended for the only solution to your fish's diet. Since the food lacks the necessary proteins, fat, fibers, and vitamins for a healthy and balanced meal. Instead, the product should be used for treats and in between meals. Personally - my fish go crazy whenever I dropped these pellets in, more so, than frozen cubes of plankton, bloodworms, or shrimp. The Shrimp Pellets contain no trace of shrimp meal or shrimp by-products since for decades pellets were advertised as shrimp pellets. They were advertised this way because it was more appealing than calling them "sinking pellets or food that goes down." The shrimp pellets are ideal for shrimp, crayfish, freshwater crabs, medium and large tropical fish, and bottom feeders. The pellets do not cloud the water and do not contain any unhealthy chemicals. The ingredients listed are completely safe and healthy for any type of fish.In conclusion, I extremely recommend purchasing Cobalt Aquatic shrimp pellets. They sink to the bottom - nutritious and do not cloud the water. There is nothing more you could want with these pellets. Additionally, the pale has a handle for easy transportation - if you are intimidated by the size. One last thing, a tip that I recommend is only feeding your fish the size of his eyeball - this allows you to gauge how big his stomach is.

A Favorite Of All Fish In Both Our Fish Ponds
In my large pond I am trying to get some size to the little Albino Channel Catfish that I had received a total of six from 2 to 3 inches in length last year. They were so small they hid from the koi in the two bog garden tubs that I had used to get them to grow. This year I put them in the large pond so they had more room to hide. So then I bought one Cobalt Aquatics Sinking Shrimp Pellet 8lb container to see if I could get them to grow. Wow did they ever grow. They now have grown to a size between six to eight inches. I have to put the floating koi food in the pond first to get the koi to eat and wait a few minutes before putting the Cobalt Pellets in for the Albino Channel Catfish to eat. Talk about churning water as all the fish in both the bog garden tubs and both ponds love this food. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the Cobalt Aquatics Sinking Shrimp Pellets.

Fish loves these pellets.
We had to change from some other pellets that aren't produced anymore (Wardley), and the fish obviously enjoys these. They sink a little faster than the old ones, but it hasn't been a problem.

000 gallons and I wanted to get a food that all of my fish could enjoy. This one did the trick and I will ...
Ordered these pellets because I got tired of spending to much and getting the little containers from the pet stores. I have multiple tanks in my house totaling around 1,000 gallons and I wanted to get a food that all of my fish could enjoy. This one did the trick and I will be ordering it again in the future in the larger size container. There wasn't any smell with this food and all of my fish ate it, I keep goldfish, koi, betta fish, angels, blue Jacks, Midas, and other south american cichlids and everyone has taken to this food.

Eaten up quickly
I use these for gambusia minnows, pleco, algae eaters and a crawfish. I assume all love them as there's never any left over. The quantity/amount/price is excellent versus pet store little cans. The tub is convenient as well as I can just reach in and scoop out a handful and throw, not a lot of packaging to fuss with. They sink rapidly, though not rapidly enough for the gambusia not to snatch on the way down. To avoid them, I throw some in at night for the nocturnal's.

Amazing value
It took my fish a few days to warm up to the change in food, but now everyone happily eats it. Saves me a ton because just the three pacu eat an entire handful a day.Approved by: oscars, pacu, silver dollars, mbuna, convicts, rams, bumblebees, KNIFE FISH! Overall fan favorite.Hates it: my severums. Won’t touch it lolAlsoA+ for sinkibility because none of my fish like to eat floating food.

Arrived opened and half full
The pellet container arrived open and unsealed. After collecting what spilled in the box the container was about half full. There were pellets dropping out of the box as I picked it up from my porch.I will not be introducing these to my catfish in my discus tank due to not being sealed and the cost of my fish. Also this item is ineligible for a return buy elsewhere.
