good kit easy to build and pretty big

Nice and i love it.It was a great price for this kit.I do recommend other people to get this.

Despite Amazon's header, it is not really an action figure (i.e. toy) per se. It is one of Bandai's vast range of plastic model assembly kits based on the Japanese Gundam animated shows. Done for the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, this kit is sort of a stand alone item compared to the other Bandai Gundam kits. Bandai typically makes their Gundam models in one of several grades, like First Grade, High Grade, Master Grade, Real Grade and Perfect Grade. Basically the better the grade, the more parts and detail the models have, and the fancier ones are usually larger. But, the Jumbo or Mega size Gundam kits don't really fall into those categories. The kit itself is typical Bandai Gundam- cleanly molded, molded in multiple colors of plastic, articulated with the use of poly caps in the various joints, of snap together construction, and requiring little or no paint to get a decent looking model. However, for its size, it is a fairly simple kit. The articulation is less than the newer High Grade kits, and is rather basic and stiff. While the Master Grade and Perfect Grade kits have movable fingers this one has molded solid hands. There is no internal or structural detail, no cockpit or pilot figure, and no LED lights. Having said that, what you do get is not bad. It is a simple kit meant for beginners, and as such it should be good. The parts are large, fit well, and the instruction book is very thorough with a lot of building hints and tips for making a more realistic looking model. I'm not sure if all of the kits have it, but mine included a mini Hobby Japan magazine dedicated to the Zaku showing advanced painting and detailing tips as well as showing a great scratch built diorama with the model. While the negatives might include simplicity, limited articulation and a lack of fine detail, the pluses are the price, size, ease of assembly, and overall appeal. Bandai put their money where you see it, on the outside of the model. And, what you see is very good. I would rate the kit at 5 stars if the prominent power cables were handled in a better way. On much smaller kits, Bandai now provides individual segments that slide over a flexible core to make a very realistic cable. In this kit, the cables are split in half with a seam to contend with, and do not move in any way. You have to carefully paint in between the segments for a 3D look, or replace the cables with specialty items.

I love this thing. doesn't even take that long to build either!

Ce Mega Size s'associe parfaitement à mon RX-78 de cette même gamme.Bref en terme de format ils sont excelent, mais bien évidement au vu du prix ne vous attendez pas à un PG vous seriez deçu.Nous sommes ici face à un HG mais non pas en 1/144 mais en 1/48, et cela pour l'Universal Century.Bref imposant mais très plastique de près.Pour ma part un élément de décors parfait.

迫力満点の存在感

完成時の迫力と嬉しさは最高です。ただ、大きいので目に付きやすいのですが、バーニアや動力パイプの作りが簡素でかっこよくないです。RGでこのスケールなら星5にしたいです。

Ledアイを仕込んだらOh!ってなりました。ただ、まだ未完です。流石にこのサイズはつや消し4本使ってもヒートホークやらマシンガン、果ては拳までは足りませんでした。あと少し頑張ろ。全体のプロポーションはMG2,0に近いと思います。気に入らなくて直したのは太ももの付け根です。少し幅広で、がに股に見えたので付け根の軸を若干切り落として詰めました。デカいHGとの評も有りますが若干、ムーバブルフレームを組む雰囲気も味合わせてくれる…MGとHGの中間的難しさも有ります。デカいブロックを組むつもりで挑んで見て下さい。楽しいですよ！

5年程前に事故で左腕を失ってしまったのですが、先日ふと買い物に出かけた時に1/144スケールのPGを挑戦と思い購入し、素組みですがどうにか完成させました。しかし、パーツの多さや細かい作業が重なりストレスを感じる事が多く、デカール貼りは行なっておりません。今回このモデルを組もうと思ったきっかけとしては、パーツ数や組み立て安さがとてつもなく魅力的でした。片腕で組み上げなければならない以上、組み立てやすさと言った部分がとても重要となってくるのは前回のPGで学びました。しかし、素組みはあっという間に出来てしまい、墨入れとトップコートぐらいしてあげようと思った途端に模型屋に行き、タミヤの墨入れ黒とエナメル塗料、つや消しトップコートを買ってしまいました。腕を失う前も素人で墨入れや加工等行なっていなかったため、どうすればいいか分からずどうしようと考えていたら同封されてたマニュアルに細かく加工の仕方が載っていましたので、その通り出来る限りやってみたら、それなりに大味ですがいい感じになりましたし、楽しめました。完成形のスタイルの良さ等とても満足しています。あくまでも子ども向け的な位置付けと思っていたこちらの商品で、二十代半ばの自分が丸一日ワクワクしながら過ごせました。本当にありがとうございました。次はメガサイズモデルのガンダムを作ります。
