This one really brings in a variety of woodpeckers.
This is a very high quality birdseed. I was surprised how quickly the woodpeckers discovered it. It’s been so much fun to watch them. Beautifully packaged and easy to open. Also it seals and closes very easily which is nice. Love this one.

Woodies love it
The woodies love it. Worth the extra couple bucks. But beware so do the starlings smh. Lyric has the most fresh ingredients and I’m impressed. However wish the fruit pieces were bigger. Only reason I’m giving it a four

Excellent winter mix for songbirds
As soon as I put out this mix at our new apartment, the songbirds found it and started chowing down. We live in South Central Alaska, so providing quality food to our birds when the snow is 3 feet deep is important. This is the best quality food I've found so far- there's NO filler in the bag, which is why it's so expensive. The birds aren't going to pick through it- they're going to eat the whole thing.Folks that are saying they aren't seeing the variety of birds they want - it's probably for a number if reasons- location of feeder, CATS, lack of water, or you're just missing them. Woodpeckers in particular are very nervous. I suggest putting out a camera. Woodpeckers love this food. Try putting out multiple feeders around your properly.I will say it did take the woodpeckers a while to find this when we put it out- but they have a tendency to be nervous compared to some other birds. So the smaller birds were throwing the peanuts on thr ground, which resulted in the moose finding our birdfeeder. But the woodpeckers do definitely like this birdfood and I do think it is worth the price.

Woodpeckers love it
I have new woodpecker friends who are staying near my house most of the day. One of them comes very near me to get this food.

Excellent Quality
Certain birds in my yard rapidly store and horde the peanuts and other delicious ingredients in this lovely product, so I put out a little at a time. Other seeds, like black oil sunflower seeds, easier for me to afford, are replenished more frequently.

Bird favorite in Wisconsin
I use it in a squirrel-stopper feeder and it attracts woodpeckers and nut hatches like crazy. Other birds as well. A little on the expensive side, but it works. Key is to have something like the squirrel-stopper so that the feeder isn't drained by squirrels -- or almost worse -- starlings and grackles.
