I guess this product would be ok for cold environments. But in a hot climate like south texas, the fan doesn't move enough air to even be felt from 2 feet away. The air is cooler than the outside air. If you stick your face right up to it. Zero value for me.

This review is from my girlfriend as the fan was purchased for her... Pumps out a good amount air. Deff cool when water added for a short period till water warms up for outside temperature. Not a quiet fan when on high but I prefer to sleep with a fan on so I don't mind the noise. Worth the buy if you need something small and officiant
