Fantastic part. Worthy replacement.
I use my DS4 for everything I can, PS4 gaming and PC gaming. Its just the best controller. But the build quality on the OEM trigger buttons isn't the best, and i found my R2 button sticking slightly. This replacement worked perfectly, opening the DS4 is (kinda) a breeze. Ergonomically, the replacement is identical. 100% fit. Visually it is a 98% match, and it only loses 2% because the plastic doesn't sheen in the light EXACTLY as the original L2 button does. But you have to look pretty hard to notice. I also liked it cuz I was able to both save the cost of a new controller, and easily add some metal XBOX One thumbsticks to my controller since the PS4 rubber ones suck and also break. Also for a low price I have more replacements, if the button breaks again or a friends. Good buy.

best bang for buck & damn good too!
ok so I took a chance on these after just flat out getting sick of having to send in a controllers on a monthly & sometimes weekly basis. owning 3 controllers all I ever had working at any time was 1 of them. Considering that I have spent enough in shipping fees to have bought at least 2 more controllers, I decided I was done after the last warranty repair resulted in the R2 button snapping within minutes of unboxing the controller and connecting it... I think I got 5 minutes into Destiny & bam broken again.I have larger hands so my fingers tend to be a little too long to comfortably use just my fingertips on the L2 & R2 buttons, that said I have been gaming for YEARS, and never broken so many controllers. I even broke my newer Blue controller, however; this one even with the hinge broken did not seem to suffer from the button sticking & causing "autofire" issues. At any rate, I just got these & they are what appears to be a dead on replacement... Based on the fact they look like the originals & snapped right in without fuss, I'm going to give 5 stars, & the replacement was Super easy once you get the hang of snapping the DS4 controller apart. I literally did all 3 of my controllers in about 5 minutes & the buttons snapped right in. They fit perfectly, & seem of at least the same quality as the ones Sony is using. As far as durability, I do not have high expectations to be honest. The R2 button snaps due to design. The springs seem to eventually start wearing into the post they are on & then it is a matter of time till it snaps... much like etching glass for a clean break. If I were to reverse engineer this I'd add aluminum posts, but I'm not gonna bother cause these are cheap & it is easy to fix.

Bad batch - doesn't fit
I'm not sure If I got a bad batch, but the hinges were all too small and ended up not fitting the sockets for the controller. Not buying these again. And they didn't come with replacement springs either...

Good, but QC is not great. Still a value...
The posts on some of the triggers are inconsistent in thickness, in my experience about 0ne out of every three or four. Some of the tab pins are too thin & don't want to stay inside the channel when putting the controller back together, while others are perfect.

Performs as advertised, breaks just as easily as the original.
Easy to replace, just don't lose the little spring! Shame on you Sony for making a POS trigger!! They break so much that you should make them out of cast aluminum.

My friends all use their fingertip for R2 but that is not comfortable with my long fingers and I am used to ...
Item arrived well before I expected it. I live in the USA and was skeptical buying from China.I have been through 4 ps4 ds4 R2 buttons! Sony will charge you shipping and handling for the "free" fix, and maybe a two week turn around.I voided my warranty and pulled my controller apart and found a cheap plastic R2 button that is poorly designed. I have long fingers and the controller breaks because its not designed to be fully depressed...yes you read that correctly. My friends all use their fingertip for R2 but that is not comfortable with my long fingers and I am used to the old 360 controller. Never broke one of those, and I logged hundreds of hours. These break after 2.5 weeks. These R2 triggers are probably from the same factory that makes the originals, and it snaps right in. Less than 20 minutes to fix this. and the cost of buying this once pays for itself the first time you have to pay S/H to Sony to fix their lemon. Hopefully someone comes out with a more robust design, I haven't put the full 2 weeks on these yet, time will tell but the next 9 fixes are free and instant ;) I would buy from this seller again

Great for DIY controller Fix.
First let me set up why you would want these. If you are a core gamer and particularly a shooter fan, that owns a PS 4 you have likely mashed up the buttons on the controller to a point where they are sticking, very likely broke. I've now broken my controllers a total of 7 times (R2 trigger) that's over $420.00 in damages if I bought a new one each time ($60 for a new PS 4 controller). For a few dollars and a few frustrating minutes you can repair them easily. There may be some issues with the PS 4 controller but at least they are fairly easy to repair (web search for videos on repair), these R2 triggers are the exact same thing that is installed by the manufacturer (IMO they hold up better), This kit does not include the pressure spring which is easy to find, hopefully you will not need to replace yours. I've now repaired my 3 controllers again for a mere 16$, not even a quarter of the price for a new one, or half the price to send it in.

A Quick Fix for Broken R2 Triggers
I've been breaking a lot of DS4 R2 triggers, and I've come to the conclusion that it has something to do my having long fingers, playing long hours of first person shooters, and squeezing the triggers too hard. Nonetheless, these work as a great replacement for my broken DS4 triggers.Keep in mind that you'll void your warranty popping your controller open, but these triggers are a quick fix and the set of ten is going to cost you about the same as a single warranty claim with Sony.Overall, they're not exact duplicates. They're a little bit smoother than the original triggers, but aside from that, these triggers are hard to tell apart from the originals. The shipment was also very good and my order came much sooner than I expected it. I am very pleased with my purchase.
