This makes cross stitching so much neater
I have recently started to use "laying" as a cross stitch method and this seat frame makes it possible. The seat part of the frame is very well made. The actual frame tends to loosen more often than I would like, but no more than a hand held model.

Very versitile
This frame works great! I love that I can use it as a stand alone lap frame of with the removal of one screw as a more traditional handheld frame. Great versatility.

Waste of money
I chose to purchase this frame because of the ease of assembling it, acording to the pictures, but it was a disappointment as soon as I tried to screw the Upright piece onto the base; there is a metal piece in the base, which should hold the bolt of the top piece, that falls out therefore making it impossible to secure the Upright piece and achieve any level of stability with this frame. The wood seems to me cheap pine tree and the edges are not smooth either. Sorry but this is going to be returned right away.

Working out well Has been a great help
This is a great asset to work on my stamped cross stitch. The 4 rating is because it was a little difficult to get together but once I got the hang of it it went together fairly easily. Getting the canvas on to stretch it is a little hard to do on your own at first but I just had to take my time. That can be hard for me when I want to use it "right now" I personally don't use the stand. It's easier for me to use this product without it. But I do know people that use it and love it. I think its just preference. All in all it's a good product and sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone, and would buy again.

Cheap parts
The concept was good but they used cheap wood and parts. The bottom piece would not tighten when it did the metal piece broke and wood cracked. So I'm a wood worker and had mahogany wood left over used their wood to to trace out. Now it looks beautiful and sturdy. To bad their product was cheaply made.

Set on needle work frame.
I bought this needle work frame as a gift. It looks sturdy & easy to assemble, & looks like setting on it will probably help keep it from sliding around. I hope it works really well! 🌸

Wonderful stand
This makes stitching so much easier. I am able to easily adjust the stand depending on where I am sitting. My hands are no longer cramping. I love this one.

so now it's useless. Oh
It worked well enough for a few months. But then the vertical piece that attaches to the bottom piece (the one that goes beneath your legs) started to loosen. There's no way to tighten it, so it just flops around now. (I also tried gluing it, repairing the screw, and even attaching an L bracket, but the wood is too flimsy to hold anything.) And then shortly after that another piece of wood at the stop split, so now it's useless. Oh, and the frame isn't true, so it won't roll evenly.
