Buckingham Nicks

musical excellence in the making
At long last this album has been remastered and re-released with all related recordings. This album demonstrates the great talent of Buckingham & Nicks from the beginning. One realises why Mick and John were keen for them to join Fleetwood Mac.It is not an outstanding classic piece of work but it is essential for those ardent Fleetwood Mac followers who want to see how the music has evolved. This album contains early versions of tracks that would later appear on Fleetwood Mac albums and Stevie Nicks solo albums. The tracks are well created and performed.A must for keen Fleetwood Mac followers.

The fabulous first steps of Buckingham/Nicks
This is a really good album. I'm not sure why it's not more widely available because this was pretty expensive for a CD (more of a vinyl price I'd say) but it is a lovely little package. You can here the trajectory of the Buckingham/Nicks iteration of 'Fleetwood Mac' all over this album. The production is very similar to both 'Fleetwood Mac' and indeed, 'Rumours'Despite the cost, well worth a purchase. As the lead singer of the band 'Cats in Space' I recommend this wholeheartedly. Also, check out 'Atlantis' now.

At long last!
I can’t believe I’ve finally got a copy of this album! I bought it on vinyl, but had to return it because it was warped and it had been deleted and I could never find another copy.I’ve been hoping that a CD copy would eventually come out, and this has exceeded my expectations, having eleven extra tracks.Transfer to CD sounds good as well.

An almost overlooked gem until they joined Fleetwood Mac
I'm giving this CD full marks for the sheer beauty of these well crafted songs but it falls short in the overall sound. I also have the LP which gives a richer dynamic sound with excellent warm vocals which is not apparent on the CD but still worth having. Anyone who liked this pairs influence in resurrecting the flagging careers of Fleetwood Mac would not be disappointed in this Great Album.

Happy memories
First, it is a nice package, with a gatefold CD cover which is a faithful reproduction of the original 1973 vinyl release, larger size than normal, and a folded lyric sheet inside. The sound quality is excellent, and the additional tracks, especially the live ones, are fascinating. If you like Rumours era Fleetwood Mac, especially Stevie Nicks voice and Lindsey Buckingham's guitar, you will like this.I know that Stevie Nicks hated doing the cover photo but listening to the music is the main thing and that is mostly wonderful - for example, if 'Races are Run' had been on Rumours, everyone would be saying what a great Fleetwood Mac track it is.

Excellent transaction, thank you!,
Superb sound quality! Even though I have the original LP, it’s never been played because of its rarity. So pleased that I have it on CD now. Thanks so much for an excellent transaction!

A classic
Wonderful album from my young adulthood - difficult to find on CD or anywhere, so I was delighted to find, even at the higher price. Well worth it

The sound of 1970's California
Quite simply - I LOVE this album! It was originally released in 1973 - the year of my birth and 45 years on, I still love listening to it. This re-issue is packed with bonus tracks.
