JBL Boombox Portable Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker (Forest Green) (Renewed)

I don't want to start my review with all the great, because this thing is EPIC!!! My one and only downside (and still 5 stars baby) is that anyone and their mom can connect without my knowledge. I manage a call center and for the last two years was rocking out with the JBL Charge 3 (which still works perfectly btw) but I was feeling a bit extra and bought this bad boy! Not realizing just how crazy loud and great and monstrous the bass is! Getting back to the one downside, when I'm the only manager with 60 agents, BoomBox out in the open, anyone could (and did actually) walk past it and hit the pair button.... Not good if you're using this in a professional environment (said person would blare abusive and foul language putting me at risk) ((jealous bia)). Ok bam. That's the one constructive criticism bit that is at all possible, this thing is soo awesome! Buy it, and even tho it was refurbished it came like brand new. To the few other reviewers where you had slight issues with the actual indoor/outdoor button, mine is hard to push too (like brutal) but the JBL app allows you to switch modes through your phone. I still prefer indoor mode no matter what tho. Enjoy!!! Thanks to JBL and Amazon for bringing this beautiful art in my life and ear!

The JBL Boombox is the best sounding boombox I have ever heard I ride on my scooter with my JBL boombox attached with bungee cords I pull up next to Harley-Davidson Riders at the red light and they have their stereo systems on, I turn up my JBL Boombox and I can't even hear their music they usually give me the thumbs up! when I'm riding around town people think that I have a car stereo hooked up to my scooter ,they can't believe the bass and the mid-range coming from the JBL boombox Hahaha Lol!! I added a picture of my JVC RV –NB-70 I bought that in 2010 and it was my best sounding Boombox until I bought the JBL boombox, JVC has two woofers on the side and two mid-range tweeters up front it holds ten batteries that can get expensive, boy am I glad JBL invented the Boombox I bought mine when it was on sale for $274 so I bought two of them and I can connect them together with one push of a button, that's enough sound for you to have a backyard party with 300 people your neighbors will get mad because the sound is so loud and the bass is so deep! I have nice Neighbors so I'm not worried about turning it up all the way if you're on the fence about buying one of these go ahead and buy it, you will be happy you did trust me when I say it sounds good the clarity is insane, I'm hearing sounds in songs that I never heard before and it's from the same songs I've heard for years, I love how the bass is thumping. I bought the Original Boombox because I heard such good things about it and the Boombox 2 isn't that much better for you to spend $500.

I would recommend this item to everyone, the sound is pretty awesome and incredible. The fact that you could select indoor /outdoor bass delivery and the quality of bass you get when you switch it around is mind blowing. Battery life uhn don't even go there, i think this piece is powered by oxygen and electricity cos i hardly charge it, it's pretty weighty dou but worth it + it could serve as a power bank for your dieing phone battery while using it as a speaker.In a nutshell, it is *WORTH EVERY PENNY

Overall I really like the sound quality of this product. After less than 6 months of primarily indoor use it started not turning on unless it was plugged in, despite the battery being full. Now it does it all of the time, which defeats the purpose of a portable unit. I would highly suggest not purchasing a renewed unit. After looking up the issue many people have experienced the same problem.

I will admit, my decibel expectations were not met, however this boom box does produce a very nice and clean sound. Battery life is incredible. Not thrilled with the price, but as a music fanatic, I could not resist.

so this is one of the refurbished speakers that i purchased recently,mainly due to the 500$ price tag for a brand new one. so i have been running this thing through the paces. ie loud bass, you know keys and krates, deadmau5, so on so forth. so what i have found out is a few things. the battery life is damn good. when plugged in it does get louder, ie bass and even overall loudness. im loving the overall design and features. but thing is there is a problem on day two. it seems that the side radiators are seemingly a little flimsy after day one, its hard to explain but if im carrying it they seem to push out farther than ever before. its more of a slappy bass not a deep ruble.... anyways i will update this again as time goes on.

I had a flip 4 before I bought this, my friend had the xtreme and that thing kicks so I knew I wanted one and this one, refurbished for 30$more the the xtreme is amazing. The depth and quality of sound is insane for the size. I dont even use my car stereo anymore because this badboy sits shotgun and it thumps. All praises here. What a great price for an incredible product!!

Battery life is amazing on loud settings. You would not be disappointed with battery life and sound quality. Didnt mind paying the price for a nice quality speaker box
