Forseti Steel Black Jack Damascus Steel Dagger

I am very happy with this boot knife. The knife itself is larger than I thought it would be, and a bit heavier, but it is a thing of beauty, and sharp enough for the paper test right out of the box. The blade itself is beautiful and seems to be well made and strong. The knife is 7.5" long, with a blade 3.5" in length, and just over 1.5" in width. Total weight = 4.75 oz. It comes with a well-made leather sheath which fits the knife well. The inside of the sheath does not have extra shielding at the tip, so you will have to be careful how you re-sheath the knife. I've already pierced the sheath several times.My only quibble is that there is not enough thumb protection at the top of the blade. I had to break out my Dremel and grind it down a bit so that I would not be cut doing ordinary tasks. This to me is not important, but YMMV.On the whole I very much like this knife, and recommend it wholeheartedly. 4.5 stars.

Not sure who made this knife, but I'm not too happy with it. The edges were not sharp and the Damascus looks "acid etched" onto the blade. I used a whet stone to sharpen it up a bit. After a couple weeks of little to no use, the handles were separating from the tang. Disappointed in this purchase.
