Awesome product!
Perfect fit and stopped my leak. Easy to install and much less expensive than removal and replacement of the whole steering box.

Easy Fix and Big Savings
The leaking steering box input shaft seal is a common problem on vintage cars, and the common fix seams to be to buy a new or rebuilt unit, at $100 to over $500. This is a great alternative fix, and it worked for me. I replaced the seal in my 1965 El Camino, and also used Lucas power steering fluid Stop Leak Just to be safe. I think part of this problem may be due to using the new thin power steering fluids. Back in the day, they used automatic transmission fluid, but the Lucas works great. I removed the box from the car to work on it, easier that way. I used a windshield trim removal hook tool to remove the old seal, and a socket and hammer to install the new seal. Don't forget to put fluid all over the seal before putting it in.

Cheap insurance on old steering box.
Not a rebuild kit, but enough for my purpose to ensure that my freshly painted steering box does not profusely leak all over the place. Input seal was fun removing.

Good fit for saginaw steering box input shaft repair
Good product! Fit my Saginaw 800 quick ratio steering box. No complaints. My box was an AGR I bought as a power steering upgrade in my 67 Camaro. It leaked at the input shaft and this kit had the right parts to fix it.
