Ridge Footwear 8003ST Men's 6" Air-Tac Leather Steel Toe Tactical Work Boot

I am a fire inspector so my shoes do get a lot of wear. These lasted approximately 6 months and the souls on both shoes are pulling away from the leather entirely. Not just a small area, the entire inside of the seam has pulled away from the soul on both shoes.This is a classic example of you get what you pay for. I am back to Bates for comfort and durability.

by far the most comfiest boot out.i work in wharehouse and climb stairs at a chem plant for 12 hrs a day.really like the zipper on side makes for eazy removal.good ankle support and alot of cushing just like nike air shoes with the air bubble in heel.has steel toe too.i will be bying more in future.i would recomend to any one that needs steel toe and stands on ther feet for long periods of time.i dont know how long they will last tho..only had for 3 months.so far so good.well its been a year and i am going to order another pair...the old ones laces are broke and one zipper broke..but i was real harsh on them do to my work..but i like them alot. I recomend them.

Bought because these had what I was looking for in my boots.Mid high boots, steel toe, and a zipper.Used them for 3 days and on the third day the midsole cracked and peeled out from normal use.I can understand if this had happened after a year of use, but for this to happen after not even a week of use is absolutely unacceptable.You'd expect work boots to be sturdy.Consider buying something else as these are absolutely awful.

Zipper broke 2 weeks after their 30 day warranty so I can't get them replaced. These $100 boots need to last a lot longer that 6 weeks to justify the wear and cost. If you're going to spend this much just save a little more and buy good quality. Won't be buying again.

Comfortable. Midweight. Good traction. Very easy to put on

Very low quality, right foot has a piece that digs my heel raw, have to wear two socks on right foot. Cheap though so I wasn't too surprised. Still gets the job done though. Only size 16 steel toe I could find under $60.

2nd pair we have purchased. Very comfortable and true to size. 1st pair still in great shape a year after purchase. Bought another pair before they discontinue them because they are great boots.

He says that they are awesome, actually called me from work b/c several colleagues wanted to know where he had gotten them, hardy but light weight for walking the kill floor. Of course he has to take them off in the garage these days, so as not to walk poultry juice all over the house. So they have taken a licking but going strong.
