Great product
I bought this to light up a glittery splashback. I wanted a sensor light just to light the splash back up, but now I think its great. It's great for the middle of the night and has a setting when it only comes on when dark and so doesn't waste the battery during the day. Easy to install with the stick tape on the back of the holder and the magnet locks it in to place. If it was a little cheaper I would have one in nearly all of my rooms!

Efficient. Good quality. Economic. Great product.
Initially thought a little expensive considering these can be bought cheaply but I prefer products to last so for some home equipment the cost justifies its purpose. I bought one first. It fully charged in 2-3hrs (a little long) & set it both for dark & motion detection under my kitchen wall unit. First uses it seemed to take a while to react to me entering a dark kitchen but it slowly sped up the more I went into the room almost as though it was 'learning' what I wanted. Also it took me a while to not habitually switch the main lights on so I expected a few teething problems. It is discreet & the magnet fixing is very good. Instructions to install are simple enough as are the charging & settings instructions. Brightness is more than adequate enough for me to prepare food on the worktop or other chores in that area. However it doesn't light up enough for me to see cooker setting, washing machine programmes etc as these are in a shadow. Can use the microwave, kettle, toaster etc, anything on the counter tops under the lights.I'm really pleased & bought more. The charge lasts approx 7-8 days for me but this will vary in different households. Mine are on & off several times an evening in a high traffic area. If yours is to go in a less used area or, cupboard, wardrobe the charge will last longer.I'm hoping to save a bit of money as utility bills now are ridiculous & that was my main purchase reason.I completely recommend this product.

Does the job
Easy to set up, nice and bright, and saved us a fortune instead of replacing the cooker hood for totally busted light facility. Yes, I know it doesn't do the extraction part but I can live without that! Being able to see while cooking is absolutely essential and this has sorted it.

sleek design, but, hard to position, too bright to eyes, and not portable as it suggests
The light is super bright, I think, 6000k, and it is intense to the eyes and gives me a headache instantly. If it is used as indirect ceiling or sconce light, it would be fine but, if you are using it as light wand, a portable light source, illuminating the dark storage closet like I do occasionally, at an eye level, it can be too harsh to the eyes. The base is magnetic embedded plastic and holds the lighting stick at 1/4 of the length (which has a small metal inside) I really suggest it should be the other way to make the light stick more practical. I thought I could stick the light to any metal surface, but, it won't! The base has the magnetic, not the lighting! Beware!and with 2x 3M double sided tapes, it was confusing whether it was a spare for any mistake, or, I shall say, the manufacturer, should have provided another magnetic base to go with the 2nd tape, so that we could place the light in another desired location, to make the lighting stick truly portable and versatile to use.Otherwise, the lighting stick itself is TOO ROUNDED rounded and won't stand on its own, too long to be put in a cup holder, and, it rolls to face the wall on the shelf, but not face the area I want to aim at. I would need a blue tack on the back to stop its rolling. It is well-made, and quite pretty to look in general. But, more thought should be added.Additionally, the switch modes,There is only a tiny inconspicuous button at the one side. The tiny button is for on/off and, also sets the motion (red) sensor mode, and, the motion and light (green) sensor mode as they are described in the manual pamphlet. On these sensor modes, the light turns on and off about 20 seconds later. But, once you throw away this paper manual, there is no other way anyone can memorize its features or how to use these features, as these settings are not explained anywhere on the product itself. That is a major flaw for any standard. For the sleek design, I will keep it, but, it is not as practical as it was advertised, as I had imagined, from its own excessive brightness (perhaps, it should come with low-, high- settings), and its rolling rounded design, and, the limited single magnetic base choice.
