What motivated me to try this out is that I have just put in new wood floors throughout my house. Our dog was carrying around his nylabone and dropping it on the floor causing dents and chips. We had to find a solution . I must admit I was doubtful. This product seemed overpriced. Our dog is a heavy chewer and I was sure that this thing was not going to last. There is nothing bad to be said: 1. The dog loves it. 2. It is very functional as a fetching toy, a chewing object and a tug o war tool 3. It is fairly light weight 4. Easy to play fetch with 5. Bounces gently off my wood floors and makes no dents nor any noise. Thus far, it is holding up well with no signs of cracks or breakage. If I get another month out of it, in my book it would have been a great value. I think it is going to last far longer than one month. The only thing for which the Zogoflex seems to not be sufficient is as a teeth cleaning chewing stick. I might be wrong about that, but we still give the dog his Nylabone occasionally when he is on his mat. However, we were not expecting it to be useful for that. *** Update - Three months later the toy still looks like it is brand new. It is worth twice the price. I would rate it 10 stars if I could

I found this brand of dog toys at a random pet shop in Savannah while we were on a trip with our dogs. I didn’t think it would work as we’ve gone through kong bones and everything. The only toys that proved chew proof are nylabones. Until now because these things are AMAZING. I have a pit and a pug/English bulldog mix and it took them 6-7 months to chew the end off the first one (that was a solid smaller blue bone by this brand). We ordered this one as a replacement and even though it’s hollow it’s holding up great! At first I was upset because it felt like they’d chew right through it, but they’re not. This is definitely worth it and our house is going to be full of them soon. Update: I still love this brand and think it’s amazing. But I want to say the big s shaped toy they have is not chew proof. My babies tore that apart in less than a day. But I contacted the company and they sent a replacement that’s like a nubby ball and it’s awesome! So we have had success with the long bone, short bone, and nubby ball thing!

We have a golden retriever puppy. He is 7 months old and already over 50 lbs! We have bought him many toys and this one is by far his favorite! We bought it over two months ago and it is just as good as the day we got it. He is a moderate chewer and this has held up perfectly. Even though he loves to chew on it, his favorite thing is playing fetch with it. It is so easy to throw and goes a long way, spinning and then bouncing along the ground once it lands. It is easy for him to carry and great for tug-of-war, which he loves. We play with it outside and then when we want to bring it inside, a quick rinse in the sink and it looks brand new! He tends to lose interest in toys after awhile, but this one has kept his interest all this time and I think it will remain his favorite! It is worth every penny and the fact that it is made in the USA makes it that much better!

West paw is an amazing brand. Extremely durable and great quality dog toys . I’d definitely buy another one . This toy is my Doberman’s favorite. He after about 20 months he was able to start to take this you apart. Other toys only last a matter of weeks. I guess we got our monies worth Here is some images of where the toy started to fail

We have had this toy for a year now, and it looks almost like new still. Which is amazing because it's probably both my dogs' favorites (and my young daughter's!). I have a 3 year old lab and a 7 year old pit/lab/boxer mutt. They love playing tug of war with this thing, and we love playing with it with them too. It's the first thing they grab when they are happy/excited and need something in their mouth (both dogs need things in their mouths a lot!). I love that it's not hard/scratchy if they bump into with it. I cannot believe with how rough they play with it that it still looks almost new. It was only about a month ago that a noticed a crack in one end. But you can hardly see it, the dogs don't notice it, and it doesn't affect how they can play with it. They have not broken/chewed off any bits of this toy AT ALL. It's truly an amazing material... more durable even than our Kong brand rubber bones/toys.

Linus is mouthy and seems to tear anything up. When I first got this I felt there is no way this will survive as it seemed soft on the grip. It must be made out of something space age because he can pull really hard on this and to our delight, no tears! The rubbery consistency is great too as he likes to toss it up himself and try to catch it as it bounces off the floor or other things. Recommend for your dog who normally pulls things apart.

My 98# lab absolutely loves this thing! He Carries it around the house shaking it, and taunts us to play tug-o-war with him. He normally destroys these types of toys in a matter of minutes, but for some reason this one is still 100% after 24 hours of hard play. I am a little hesitant to give a full 5 stars in that regard, but time will tell. I do wish that West Paw would make a much larger version, maybe 2 or 3 times larger, with this same shape. It would make an awesome throw toy at the lake! Update 3/29/22: Have to take away a star because the toy has now begun to separate at the seams. Overall it’s been a great toy, but I feel that the seam where the two halves are joined should not be a weak point. I doubt that it will make it to the lake now this summer.

If your dog is destroying toys then these toys are going to be your best friends. I can actually leave these products in my puppies crate with her! They are SO durable! I have two other goldens and they’ve had their toys FOR YEARS and they still haven’t ruined them they’re completely in tact and two out of the 3 of my dogs are aggressive chewers. They bounce great and they’re so easy to clean! A good size too nothing that they can choke on so I feel comfortable leaving them in her crate while I’m gone (I do have a puppy cam).

Wahnsinns Produkt das sein Geld wert ist. Haben einen kräftigen Labrador der gerne alles nach einer weile kaputt nagt. Umso irritierter war sie das dies bei diesem Hundespielzeug nicht funktioniert. Wir haben nun schon zwei Spielzeuge dieser Firma seit über 2 Monaten und man sieht noch nicht einmal bissspuren oder sonstige Abnutzungen obwohl fast täglich im Gebrauch. Also wirklich absolut zu empfehlen. Werden von nun an lieber ein bischen mehr Geld ausgeben und ein hochwertiges Produkt haben das wohl ewig hält, statt ständig produkte die doch nicht halten was die Hersteller versprechen. Wir kaufen und empfehlen nur noch diese Firma. Unser Hund liebt es.

My dog (65 lb pitbull) managed to tear one of the three ends off in about 45 minutes. Since then it's been good, (only been a few days so time will tell,) he really loves playing with it though, probably because it's so hard to wrestle it from me due to the squishiness. Throwing it is kind of boring, can't really get a good bounce from a flat shape like that, they should have angled the ends or added a couple that went vertical. All in all, I expected more from such a premium pricetag for a single dog toy Update: 3 months later and the remaining piece is still going strong, also is his favorite tug-of-war toy

Westpaw products are wonderful for dogs. Have purchased many through the years for various dogs we do respite fostering for….great way for connecting. Good and safe, easy to clean. This one was returned due to hole in product when received…. very unusual for this brand.
