I wanted an exfoliator/scrub for my face and was very surprised and disappointed when I opened the bottle and a liquid came out! I didn't read the instructions first and just applied to my face and washed it off! I did this a few times before I looked at the bottle again and read the instructions which say to apply to a cotton pad and then to your face and don't rinse off. First off, the name of the product is misleading - I wouldn't call it an exfoliator - I don't know what I would call it instead. However, that said, I then started applying it directly to my face because I think you waste a lot if you put it on a cotton pad/wool first and it's not cheap. I left it on my face and then put SPF moisturiser on top. I have to say, it is a really good product! I was worried about buying it at first because I have sensitive skin. But it was fine on my skin. I use it twice a week, sometimes only once a week. I have clear skin anyway because I use a few different exfoliators regularly but I do think this is a good product. I had a blemish on my wrist for a very long time that I couldn't get rid of and tried this on my wrist as well - the blemish has almost gone! I bought the smallest size first (which I thought was very expensive) in case I didn't like it. This was my second purchase but this time I bought the 118ml bottle. I would buy this again. Very pleased with it!

Once you use this you won’t ever stop. It keeps my sporadically oily skin under control! And even if I do get a spot, it clears it up sooo quickly! My all time fave product.

Paula’s Choice BHA is great for oily combination skin, particularly if you are suffering from severe breakouts. It will minimise spots and help to quickly heal. This bottle is also great as you can remove and re-attach the lid, so excellent for de-canting from your larger BHA bottle when heading on holiday. FYI - If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend trying the Paula’s Choice Azeliac serum as an alternative as this is slightly weaker than the BHA while delivering similar benefits. Sometimes my skin needs the BHA and other days the Azeliac is much kinder and reduces redness.

Really great product and worth investing in. On my second bottle, be sure to only use once or maybe twice a week as I had previously overused it and my skin reacted. But when used once a week I’ve been seeing a real difference in my skin texture and pours !

5months later AWESOME wish I found it 30yrs ago job interviews, going on holiday and meetings knocking my confidence as always had horrific spots but complexion now transformed no spots and it was rather annoying when I ate well and cleanse plus my husband actually noticed the difference! Es perfecto! Lo compré por que tengo los poros muy abiertos y en el primer uso, me dejó la piel súper lisita, me encanto, ahí dice con algodón, yo la verdad me lavo súper bien la cara y de ahí me pongo gotitas en la mano y lo aplico directamente y muy bien todo.

so the price is like 18 euro and the product size is very tiny, i mean in 18 euro we can have a large bottle of cerave , are you guyz fooling us. whats the point of charging this hefty amount , please i request everyone dont buy this product without reading the reviews. dont waste your money..

I’ve been using this for years and it never disappoints — this 2% BHA exfoliant is a staple in my routine: clear, smooth skin and consistent results. The real challenge now is finding it at a fair price, especially in Portugal, where it’s often overpriced or hard to find. Great product, but availability can be tricky!
