And wah-lah - perfect shiny hair! Love Ibiza’s brush quality! Review: I didn't want to hate it but I did. - I didn't want to do this. I really, really wanted to love this brush. I had seen the brand on sites like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. I felt confident that since this is a brand that bases its products on boar bristles that this brush would be a safe bet. Oh, how wrong I was. The version I bought was the oc7 which is the boar bristle and nylon brush. Before purchasing this brush i bought a pure BBB from Widu which cost 80 dollars (90 if you include their exorbitant shipping cost) but it has been worth every penny. Anyway, I decided I wanted a boar and nylon to add volume and smooth at the same time and obviously I chose this one. When it arrived I was shocked at the initial appearance. There were long bristles sticking out everywhere and the boar bristles were so flimsy. The nylon pins were sharp and crudely cut and they scraped up my scalp. And then there was the smell. It reeked of a tire shop which is a sure sign of low quality rubber. The bristles also started falling out after the first use. I contacted desertcart immediately and they sent out a replacement. I received the replacement today and it was absolutely no better. Smelled terrible and bristles coming out. This is an absurdly over-priced item for what you get. Save up for a widu, a Kent or even a mason Pearson. I'm asking for a refund so I can put my money toward a widu mixed bristle brush. It's only 30 dollars more and you don't lose bristles from day 1.

great brush for the money
I bought this for my daughter. she has thick, coarse , wavy hair and it performs very well. personally I have a mason Pearson and I think this is a good substitute for a fraction of the cost

Great brush just not for my hair type
Feel like this would be good for finer, thinner hair or smoothing for updo’s and pony’s. Not scratchy at all, lovely handle. Love the round brushes but this one was just not enough to actually detangle hair

Best brush on the market
I wish I had this brush years ago. Gently brushes the hair without pulling and tugging. I have thick hair and it works better than any brush I have ever owned. Love it!

Not heat resistant
Exposed the brush to low heat from my hairdryer for all of 3 seconds and it started to smell like burning rubber.

Poor Quality Not Worth $50!
Poor quality brushes and awful customer service. I do not recommend. Please save your money, definitely not worth $50 because the brush won’t last more than 1 year. Check out the photos of my 1 year old damaged brush, never used with heat nor moisture on my fine blonde hair. Seller claims I caused the damage, and will not accept responsibility of the poor quality. The “Wet Pro” boar brushes are much better quality for ~$10, or buy the Mason Pearson and keep it forever.

Great quality, gentle on hair.
This is the fourth brush I have bought in this size! First one was for me, the last three were for gifts. The quality is amazing, it is gentle on the hair, the tangles without pulling, and doesn’t lose any bristles!!
