FLARUT Men's Sandals Barefoot Hiking Shoes Quick Dry Breathable Mesh Lightweight Outdoor Training Water Walking Shoes

We needed a lightweight quick-drying outdoor shoe to compete in the Finnish Wife Carrying Championships (put that phrase into youtube, it's hilarious) and this fits the bill perfectly. The mesh dries quickly and it fits like a sock, but the soles are very grippy like hiking boots. Great for uneven, wet terrain. Works with or without socks. Wore them to hike right up to the foot of Gljufrabui (a waterfall in Iceland); absolutely ideal for climbing over mossy, slippery rocks or doing the water and mud obstacles in a silly race. Also perfectly comfortable to walk around on pavement all day when it's too hot for serious shoes but you want a little more support than flip flops.

I dig these far out sandals super comfortable and they do great on the golf course and awesome in the water I've tried them in the river and the traction needed was their for those slippery rocks. I have size 13 feet and I approve my statement that these sandals are great and excellent craftsmanship and so far pretty durable from everyday use. I'll grab another pair soon for sure 😃

A naked upper or so it appears.Airy well designed shoe with a lugged sole for better than a tennis shoe or sneaker if you're old enough to remember the terminology.I wear a 9.5 I bought what they recommended. They fit a bit long , so remember that when you order yours . They are comfortable on the foot .Great for hot weather not so much below 50°

Good grip in snow conditions and to hike hilly terrain, stylish and very good fit

Not as tough of quality as I thought it would be. Shoes do not strap on very tight and there is very little to zero ankle support. OK if you’re standing in water or sitting in a boat, but if you planned on walking activity, these are not the shoes for you. they did keep the sand out though. fair price for what you get

I was at several sporting goods and athletic shoe stores trying to find a light weight close toed hiking shoe, with a good traction sole to wear around Japan this summer in the heat and humidity and likely rain. I could not find anything like the Flarut sandal even for $150. After researching on line, I kept coming back to this shoe because the reviews sounded just like what I was looking for. I am so happy with this purchase, they are exactly everything I wanted, I would have been paying much more had I seen anything like this in stores. Super comfortable, excellent tread on a very flexible sole, well made and almost no weight at all. Tightened the bungie ties once to fit, and have not had to do anything more except slip them on. I have worn them exclusively now since I got them 2 weeks ago, since they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I hike 4 miles every morning, a mix of concrete and then beach sand. These are the first shoes that somehow do not get sand in them, not sure how since they are low cut and pretty open, but no sand. I wear them around the house, working in the yard, out at night even, since they look good as well as comfortable. I will probably need another pair by the time I travel to Japan in July. I also have gotten them wet and they still stay comfortable and dry fast. Only thing I did was add an additional insole under the very nice breathable, light weight insole that came with the shoe.. I have some severe toe damage issues from years of breaking things with my feet in martial arts and have a special insert to support my toes. I wear a size 101/2 normally, so got the 11 to make sure I had room for the added insert. Worked perfectly and gave additional cushion and arch support which is likely the reason I can walk 4 miles and wear them all day long with no problems. However even with my special insoles I can't wear any of my other shoes that long and still be comfortable. Can't recommend them enough if you are looking for a shoe like this, Great product and I am going to buy a few more pairs just to have in stock.

She looked good when I first got it, fit well and I loved it however in a very short time, it lost all its support and was not very comfortable to wear. So I would definitely not buy this shoe again.

JUST what I was looking for. A casual yard/hiking shoe that can get wet and dry quickly and easily.I purchased a different shoe a few months ago for similar purposes and they were 'water shoes' whichapparently means they let in water! LOL. The soles had holes to breathe and drain water, but the solesalso let IN water if you walked on a soggy yard. Didn't like that.But, THESE have regular soles and feel more sturdy. (no arch support, but not a big deal for me).Wasn't looking for tennis shoes/running shoes. These can go through dirt and weather without a big deal.The skin is a mesh material (see pic)Just take them home, hose them off, let them dry and we're good to go.Also like the fact that I'm a 13 and some 13's are too small. These stretch a little and conform just right.Comfy. And they have the elastic string to cinch them up tighter if wanted.I'll be getting more of these if they are still around when these wear out.
