After purchasing this product, I received an email from Arts on Desk stating "if you are happy with the purchase and happen to have time to write a review, you will receive $10 reward by our refunding to your purchase." As written, this is nothing less than a bribe. I don't know whether the $10 would be refunded regardless of whether or not I was "happy" with the product and regardless of the content of the review. But the company could have simply offered the $10 for writing a review. It did not, and as such, I have to believe the wording was intentional. Reviews of Arts on Desk products are universally four and five stars. While the product I received, frankly, was very nice, one wonders how many reviews were influenced by the company's "reward if happy" practice. Amazon should not permit such practice to continue, since it prints these reviews. I will follow up to see if and how the company or Amazon responds to my concern.As for the product itself, as mentioned, I was quite satisfied -- and believe me, I say this not to qualify for the bribe seemingly offered by the company!! It would have received five stars as a product; I docked it three stars only due to the email I received. The pen holder itself was beautiful, of substantial heft and well made. I would not be surprised if Arts on Desk products in general fit this description. If so, it does not need to bribe anyone in order to generate a favorable review.UPDATE: It's great to see that this is a company that reacts positively to a critical review, and takes appropriate remedial action. After my post, the company responded with the following:"Thank you for taking your valuable time to explain your opinion. We appreciate your great comment. We think your comment is reasonable and we take your advice. We have removed the wording of “if you are happy with the purchase”. We send you the revision as attached." The new policy per the attachment states: "If you happen to have time to write a review, no matter long or short, you will receive $10 reward by our refunding to your purchase." Kudos to Arts on Desk. Nice to know that its management as well as its products, are first-rate.Thank you again for your business and for helping improve our practice.

Been eyeing this for a long time now and finally got my hands on this product. Pairs nicely with my desktop water fountain I have. It’s a nice and sturdy pencil holder with beautiful, modern, and functional design. Also has a nice weight to it.

Amazing piece of art on my desk, Only 4 stars because I see some solder residue where the joints meet. That is on all the pieces I received. I bought the Tape dispenser, business card holder and pencil holder. Pencil Holder and business card holder are the better pieces.Update, Love it so much had to buy another one for my best friend.

This is a very solid piece no doubt. Beautiful stainless steel and very sturdy construction. It is slightly on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it given the incredible build quality. Think of this as more of an investment rather than a simple paper throw away cup holder. It adds a very nice aesthetic appeal to your desk. Pictures don't do justice; it looks way nicer in real life, much better than I thought.There is a black piece of felt liner that goes on the bottom of the holder. It doesn't appear to be pictured in the post, but it's there. A very nice addition since it stops your metal tipped mechanical pencils/pens from sliding around.The name speaks for itself; this is as much a utility as it is a piece of art. Honestly it probably is a little bit overpriced, but I have never seen a pen holder like this before. Highly recommended!

1. The pen holder looks great (in brushed stainless steel).2. It is built like a tank. Most probably it will out last me.3. It is very functional (bottom-heavy); does not topple with a bunch of heavy pens.What else do we want from a pen holder? In fact, I am so impressed by the quality of this product, I am going to buy the brushed stainless paperweight offered by this same company.The only negative of this product is the price. Again, no one is holding a gun to anyone's head to buy this product. For me, there is no comparable product in amazon that checks all the three points mentioned above.

Anyone who can afford ArtsOnDesk products should never complain about the price; self included. Complaining about the price makes you look like the fool for buying it. We obviously wanted something shiny and nice if we pulled the trigger and purchased it, you can't blame ArtsOnDesk for you purchasing it!This pen/pencil holder looks incredible on my stainless desk. It's very sturdy and will last a lifetime. I bought this and the tape dispenser and came back for more. The only thing I wish they had was a stapler. Until then, the vintage chrome Swingline will work nicely as a substitute.

I can't often say stunning when it comes to a desktop accessory. I ordered the card holder and was so impressed with it I ordered the pen holder and post it dispenser as well. Sure you can get something for a few bucks or just get a coffee cup for your pens. But, is that really what you want to see everyday at your workspace or the first impression you present at your reception counter?

Bought this for my husband for our steel wedding anniversary. It's very stylish. Very well made. Probably not worth the money for what it is.....just a pen holder but haven't seen anything similar.
