Update: I contacted Rainbow to ask if they would replace or repair the sandal that separated after wearing it a couple times. They offered that if I would send BOTH sandals to them in California, they would look at them and see if they could be considered for repair. Should they assess them to be worthy of being repaired, then it would be done without a charge. However, the round trip shipping fare is on us. So for no less than $30 I can send back the practically brand new $55 sandals I bought here to "maybe" have them repaired or replaced. I am ordering a different brand of sandals to replace the ones from Rainbow because I am not paying $85 or more for refurbished sandals.Original Review: The sole separated from the shoe within a month of my son wearing these. Being quarantined ge has barely worn them but too late to send back now. I would not recommend buying these

These have to be fakes... rainbow emblems are not the same, quality is poor. The packaging and tag is not normal... returned. No thanks.

I've always loved rainbow sandals, but this pair fell apart, strap came out, sole separated, clearly defective. I sent them to Rainbow (at my expense) hoping for a replacement pair, instead they slapped some shoe glue on them and returned them to me. I am confident their sub-standard repairs will fail, and the time and effort cost (not to mention weeks without my flip-flops) exceed the value of the flip flops. I could have thrown some glue on them myself, and spent less time and money.

The pair of these that I owned since 2002 just have too many years of built up dirt. The straps and soles are still holding up fine. If anything the years have made them more comfortable.The new pair is just like the old ones, just need some breaking in. Rainbows are the most durable and comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned.

Attached pictures of comparison between my original rainbows (sierra brown) and the ones I ordered and received from this seller (dark brown).- The sole/cushion that forms to your foot is way thinner than the original, leaving far less room for it to mold to your foot- There is less arch support, and the layers are glued together in a different way, you can see and feel the gaps between the layers and you can't in the originals- The toe strap is stitched loosely and in a different way than the originals, allowing the straps to slide around, not a good thing- The batch numbers have a different format/designationReading other reviews where the sandals are delaminating and falling apart quickly, this is why.Don't know if I got a bad batch, or if this is how they all are now. Will be returning them asap.

The only downside to Rainbox sandals is they are the only sandals I've had stolen, two pairs out of probably 8 pairs have been stolen. So weird, why do people steal sandals? They have my funky feet impressed into them and my sweat and my foot funk. Whatever, hopefully they needed them for some mission to save the world or something cool...The sandals? They are the best. Comfortable, durable and they look great, yes, even with jeans. Supposedly you aren't supposed to wear jeans and sandals if you are a guy, whoever made that rule is stupid. That is all.

First let me say I wear flip flops ALL the time. This is my third pair (first pair gave out after a few years of heavy usage and second was devoured by my new puppy) and they are probably the best flip flops I have ever owned. Don't get me wrong, theyre not perfect day 1 at all. When you first start wearing them theyre a little bigger than you expect in terms of length and the strap can be a little rough on your toes but after you start to see them changing shape to fit your foot you are on your way to heaven on your feet. Pro tip: getting them in salt water a coiple of times seems to speed up the break in process. I didnt do that with my fist pair and it took a while for them to adjust. My wife (also a HUGE flip flop wearer that swears by Rainbows) gave me the salt water tip on my second pair and man what a difference it makes! Got this pair in the water day 1 and I can see theyre already starting to adjust after only a few days of having them. I will say the first time I started wearing these it took a bit to get used to the strap and how it rubs your toes but now I love how it feels

I went into this purchase expecting a break in period. I think I’m still in the middle of it, so I will give the shoes a fair chance and update my review as time goes on. My initial reaction is I’m not impressed. The toe straps rub skin off unless I keep bandages on while wearing the shoes. The ‘memory’ foam is not molded to my expectations. All this after wearing them a lot for a month or so. And yes I have wet them to shorten the break in period. Will give them a fair chance as promised and I will update review in another month or so.

I specifically wanted something made in the USA and these may well be lauded as the "World's Best Made Sandals", but as someone who tries to avoid buying ANYTHING from China, I'm saddened to see these aren't made in San Clemente, CA. They came with a "Made in China " sticker on the sole. Rather undermines Rainbow's boast about being environmentally friendly...China being the most unsound state in the world in terms of environment, health, socially inclusive, etc&etc.Smash China's grip on manufacturing and the world's economy. Don't buy anything from there.In fact, Amazon, how about making all sellers declare where their products are made. Or will that hit someone's over inflated wallet? Thanks for not doing your bit.

I have worn my previous pair of Rainbows since 2006. Every summer, May-September. After 15 years, they've finally almost worn through to the sole, and it's time for a new pair!I've got wide feet, so I get men's, and find just single layer perfect. I'm 7.5/41 and I get men's medium.

Still great quality .. wearing rainbows for past 15 years... worth the money..

Las sandalias son de muy buena calidad y muy cómodas, mi única observación es que la horqueta no era exactamente igual, el pie izquierdo me calza perfecto pero la del derecho es un poco más corta y apretada, aunque ha aflojado con el uso por ser piel, sigue sintiéndose la diferencia entre una y otra, supongo que entre mas las use ira mejorando, porque al principio me costaba trabajo simplemente meter el pie
