The shoes are great, not a deep tread though.I ordered a different pair and pattern and the tread was better.

9 year-old thinks they are comfortable
So far so good! We will see how long they hold up and I will update if my review if they don't last long. Bought size 5 for my 9 year-old boy. He says they are really comfortable.

So light and comfortable
These are summer "go to" choice for my 9 year old boy. He loves their light weight and comfort. He says he is now the fastest runner in his age group.

I bought the same shoes for my 6 and 7 year old boys. They love them. Comfortable and "great for running!"

Decent shoes, fit well, velcro wears out a bit too fast
This is my second pair of shoes for my 5 year old in 3 months - he likes the shoes and they seem comfy and fit well, and are easy enough for him to put on and take off. However, the velcro tends to wear off a bit fast, on the area where it threads through the metal loop, and then the velcro comes off the strap and you can't strap them on anymore. However, my son tends to wear through shoes fast anyway, so we were already on the tail end of the shoe's lifespan. We're on our second pair now and hoping the velcro doesn't come off as fast this time and they last a bit longer than the first pair.

No grip on the bottom
I bought the shoes because my son loved the color and spider design in the back thinking it was Spiderman. The shoe was pretty affordable so I bought it BUT not the best quality if you are looking to buy this shoe I would probably just advise you to think about how active your child is. My son is 5 and he's a pretty big boy he is 48inches tall and loves to play but super clumsy. These shoes did not help him out either the bottom part of the shoe is like foam so there isn't any grip and because of that he falls and slips everywhere so he has a collection of toy story band aids on right now but the shoe was at a good price if they are used during the right circumstances I'm pretty sure it will be ok depends on the child so just keep that in mind. When we go to the store he is fine if he plays outside in the grass or at the park ( the park is the worst but he takes his falls like a champ lol) the shoes are terrible.
