Like going Commando in The Sound of Music...
I have been on a quest to find the best fitting, coolest, most comfortable boxer shorts in the world--at any price. I found them! Of course, it's always an objective thing, a matter of preference. I wrote a very positive review on somewhat similar, Kirkland brand boxers. You get 3 pair of the Kirklands vs. 1 pair of the ExOfficios for about $15 (in black, at least). A few things I liked better about the ExOfficios: 1. The texture is wonderful, and the blend is perfect for pulling moisture away from your body, unlike cotton. So soft and has just enough stretch. 2. The "crotch" room. These boxers were designed perfectly to allow for absolute comfort and roominess. No squeezing, pinching or bunching up, and there is good "fly" access. 3. Overall fit. It seems boxers are either too tight or too loose on the thigh. These seem to stay in place fine, and don't creep up your legs. 4. The waistband is a huge issue with any underwear. No disappointment here. I'm a larger guy, 42 waist. I ordered XXL and these boxers couldn't fit better. No rolling of the waistband, no digging in to my skin, and no adjusting them throughout the day.If you are happy with a 6-pack of Hanes or Fruit/Loom cotton boxers (or whitey tighties, ughh) as I thought I was for years, that's fine. But if you want to see how much more comfortable a pair of skivvies can be, try a pair of these beauties. You'll be impressed the moment you feel the sporty/silky fabric in your hands (but don't mistake these for silk. Silk holds sweat, and that's no good). The sizing runs true, at least for the largest sizes. If you are a 42" - 46" waist, definitely get XXL. Now keep in mind, waist size means exactly where you consider your waist to be. If you wear them around the lower stomach (about 2-3" below naval) as I do, that could be 4" or so difference between wearing them below the "belly". Of course, wearing them low (truck driver style) means the crotch section will droop between your legs. Not a great thing. Treat yourself to the good life -- you won't regret it.

Best Boxer-Briefs Known to Mankind
I have never understood how women could purchase expensive underwear and feel like they justified the cost of a $50 bra and $20 panties. I suppose you can sign me up for a man's version of Victoria's Secret, because these are wonderful! As a bigger guy that was training for a 5K this last spring, I was tired of having chafing issues because of the warm weather. I had read about a lot of men having this same issue, so a lot of them had purchased compression shorts to help with that uncomfortable issue. I wanted something that would give me the benefit of silky smooth dexterity but also cooled the nether regions and I would be able to wear more than just for my running days. These ExOfficio boxer/briefs fit the bill perfectly for my needs, and have gone above and beyond what I ever expected out of them.I generally enjoy a good cotton boxer/brief that doesn't ride up due to friction, and doesn't fall down due to funky cut or cheap elastic. These boxers are the single pair of boxers that I will dig through my drawer to find because of their comfort level and the overall fit that they provide. The breathability in the warm months just feels natural and it's a comforting feeling, the great thing about these boxers is that in the cooler months it will act to warm a little as well. The material wicks away moisture and keeps the skin dry, without holding on to a lot of odor. I can take these straight out of the washer, put them on, and have dry boxers within an hour. Sad to say, I know this because it has been done on a few occasions.I found that these boxers fit me perfectly, for the size I ordered, much like I had expected. I have purchased other pairs that were too tight, or too loose, but these fit the bill. I whole-heartedly recommend these boxers, and I look forward to buying a few more pair.

Cool and comfortable for daily use
I had seen ExOfficio clothing sponsor some overland YouTube channels I watched. They seemed to be pleased with the clothing so I decided to give them a try. They are significantly better than the cheap cloth underwear I was used to wearing. They stay and don't require repositioning like my cotton underwear did after putting on pants.I bought two pairs to test with, and after two weeks of exclusively wearing them I no longer wanted to put on any of my other underwear, so I threw them out and bought a few more pairs of whatever color ExOfficio's were on sale at the time.I do have a couple of complaints, first the legs seemed to have stretched a bit and they aren't as tight as they were when I first put them on. This happened after a few days of wearing/washing. However, even though they are looser they do not bunch up, and still stay put when putting on pants. So it's not that big of a deal. The other complaint is the waistband. It's a very thick waistband and it tends to fold over in half on me. Maybe it's because I'm a larger individual and had to get 2XL. Maybe the 2XL is just a bit too XL for me. Maybe I'm too XL for my own good.Regardless of these issues, I now know that better underwear exists than the random stuff you buy at a local big box retailer.+ Cool, comfortable, stays put- Waistband folders over, leg stretched a bit

cool drawers!
and they are..cool that is. I bought them after reading some reviews that left the impession they were the best thing since grilled cheese. I had to try on these drawers! And well, the are comfy, albeit a tad small..and they are cool. And pretty comfortable. But I still prefer grilled cheese. They are after all, just an exotic pair of underwear. I guess if you are on the road a lot the fact that they can be hand washed and dry quickly might be a plus.
