I tried to mount on shower smooth plastic wall they kept falling off used alcohol to clean both wall and suction cups seem to be working so far

I bought several of these in different brands because I am handcap. These started off great then after about a month of use started giving loose after 2 months one would not lock at all. Chrome ones I bought at Walmart are still going after 3 years

A warning comes with the instructions explaining that the suction cups must be firmly placed on the flat tile and not the grout between tiles or the suction might be broken and item might come off with pressure.

I thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned my tile. One has remained in place but the other started falling off after being up for five days. Now I can’t trust them

I had purchased two of these for my 85 your old mother to use in a brand new shower I even made sure the suction areas were clean with rubbing alcohol and the tile is completely smooth but they never stayed on I would always find at least one side of them popped off after a few days of use I have an older handle that I was using before I bought these I put it back in because I did not trust the new ones to work correctly the old one I had had thicker plastic and larger suction cups I would look for one that was better made then this one.

I recently came home from the hospital and was eager to attach these to my tub walls for added security. They arrived quickly, a set of two and I followed instructions. First of all, they required a bit of muscle to secure to the tub walls. Secondly, one has held up just fine. But the other grab bar keeps falling off!! No matter what I do, it falls to the tub floor eventually. I'll give it a few more tries before trashing it. I can't afford for it to malfunction while bathing. What a disappointment.

So disappointing. Initially I found this item was great - an extra reassurance to hold from time to time in the shower. Followed all the instructions to the letter - but the clips that fix and "seal" the handle to the tiles release themselves, more frequently as time goes on. Even if I've had a bath and not a shower for several weeks/months, I have found the handle falls without warning. The clip that holds it into place slowly lifts until the suction has gone that should seal it into place. I had a shower today and the handle fell a bit later. And during another shower, I found the handle was moving when I took it for stability. So - does not live up to expectations, no use as it can't be relied on.
