Runs small, comfortable, and can save your life
PLEASE NOTE: I did NOT BUY this suite from amazon, however I own the exact same suit and wanted to write a review.I wear this suit ice fishing, late fall/winter fishing, and early spring fishing on lake erie. Lake erie water temps can routinely drop below 30 degrees but usually when fishing from the boat they are around high 30s to low 40s during the late winter and early spring; at that temperature you would have minutes before hypothermia sets in. The different between these suits and say a striker ice suit; which is also own; is these are a one piece suit, so there is minimal change of failure or water penetration. This suit is far warmer than I could have imagine, it does run a little on the small size as i purchased an XL and it is snug, however that is fine. I would prefer snug vs swimming in it; no pun intended.I have modified mine a little with some iron on reflective patches; that simply add to the shoulder ones; I also sewed in a water activated LED strobe and a whistle. I keep floating flares in the breast pocket as well. This suit is surprisingly easy to put on as well! I would not recommend NOT having it on and then having to put it on if you're sinking, however it takes minutes to put on, and you only have one life. Generally speaking i wear it fully covered when under power, and then unzip for comfort when fishing, it would be easy enough to zip up should something go wrong. Most water accidents occur when under power going to or from the fishing area. I would recommend using this with the mustang lifeline throw rope and a nebullus system for any hard core ice fisherman. I have two mustang lifelines on my boat, bow and stern and for the money theyre worth it.

Keeps you warm does not keep you dry if you fall in water you will die but float
People that have made reviews about these just have no clue or maybe do not even own one. They keep you super warm If you fall in the water you will get wet and die but being floating these are exposure suits only not survival suit that stang also sells. I have used these for years running hydros on the crab boat out of dutch harbor

Great Suit for Protection
I am a marine partol officer on the Gulf of Mexico and I wear this suit in the winter and fall for protection just in case I go overboard. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Suit
I am retired US Navy and used this exact same suit while aboard ship in the North Atlantic in the winter. This suit allowed me to stay warm without a bunch of layers. Actually had minimal clothing underneath. A MUST HAVE if you spend any time on the water in the cold temperatures.
