Upgraded to this larger size after using the 600mL "Leopard" version from the same manufacturer. Leopard is still going strong after years of frequent use.Construction and materials are every bit as good. Polished wooden handle is permanently crimped to the pot. Outer color is darker than copper--halfway to oil-rubbed bronze. Areas rubbed frequently will beautifully wear away to reveal lighter copper underneath.The top of the Pharaoh pot curves out like a trumpet, or a tulip glass. The Leopard had straight-sloping sides like a Martini glass / inverted cone.Haven't had any problems using these pots on an electric stove.

The coffee pot is expensive, but substantial and well made. We have made coffee on our gas cook top a number of times and this little pot is very handy. I would say it is pretty big, you can use it to make coffee for 5-6 people easily if using those expresso shot cups especially.

turka arrived without any package, labels or description, just in a mailing box. Color is different from the picture with some scratches. Wooden handle attached is very ruff. Do not think it will stay attached for long time. Do not like it, made fast, unprofessional.

The turka is very nice. Works excellent for 2 mugs of coffee. The shape and material are perfect. This turka is very classic.
