This CLEAR Plassic gets very brittle in very cold weather.One “ear” broke when removing it one below freezing morning while we were winter camping.It was replaced with one that has a “rubber” bayonet. That one has held up in cold weather..If ya live/ camp where it doe not get cold then this “might” work for you…..Otherwise look for the sewer elbow with a “rubber” Bayonet.

This connector fit where others did not. Also, the height of the hose connection is slightly higher than others and that will save you at some parks. It is wise to have a taller elbow fitting if the sewer connection is lower than than the ground around it. We have 3 threaded fittings and one unthreaded downspout with a rubber ring fitting.

I purchased this item from Amazon and it was full filled by B.Z.B Marine and RV. Initially had a delivery problem which ended up being a fault of USPS. BZB Marine immediately sent out a replacement which we received before hitting the road. As for the product, it is perfect for our needs, we have two hoses with this fitting on it so we don't have to transfer ends when opting for the shorter hose. I like Valterra items more than Camco, so I'm a bit prejudiced. The bayonet fitting seems to work with various lug fittings from both Camco and Thetford from what I have been able to determine. The material seems solid on this coupler. There are see-through similar ones, but I have found that to be necessary as my RV has small-ish sewer tanks.

The hose connection is very low to the ground when the coupler is installed into the sewer pipe - if the sewer pipe is elevated, then not so much an issue, but if the pipe is level, or worse, recessed to the ground, then connecting the hose is very difficult. My previous version (that broke), was actually elevated about 1" - this one is not.

I choose this solid 1 piece unit to replace the 2nd Camco sewer termination as the Camco and Rhino terminations are two piece with small lugs that are prone to wearing and disconnecting. This is a quality piece that will last for a lot of years.

Works excellent at directing my beefy corn filled caca into the ground hole.

A very good product to complete a "shxxty job". Fits well in the drain hose and also into the sewage hole.Well made.

I've been using it for several months now. This is a very good product. Recommended.
