Did not use it.
The cord is a beautiful dark gold color and would work great with a lamp. I thought I might use it for my chandelier install but I decided not to and returned it.

Exactly what was promised
Used this to restore a antique lamp that had that old plastic cord. It is heavy duty, the color it exactly what the picture showed, I did cut away too much of the fabric portion when putting my lampholder on so I have the wires exposed. But hey it works for y'all because I can take a picture to show you! Oh it's not a solid wire in the center if anyone wants to know that info, it's the type of wire that's a ton tiny silver wires you have to twist up to wrap around your screws, etc... didn't get a picture of that, sorry.

Good looking wire
Very appropriate appearance for the era of the lamp. Unfortunately, made in China. Don't know if it is even available as a US made product.

Beautiful wire
I bought this to re-wire an old lamp whose wire was cracking. It arrived quickly, and I was impressed at how nice it looked - just like it does in the pictures. It is gold and shiny, and works perfectly with the lamp. I used only half of the length, which gave me plenty of length between the lamp and the plug.I wish I could find a thicker gauge of this kind of twisted wire to use on old electric fans. It's very handsome stuff.

Antique look
Used for an antique chandelier rewire. Worked well, though it was hard to feed through tight places and frayed easily. Looks good once I could get it through. Had to cut off at least 8 inches of frayed line but there was plenty on role.

Great vintage look
We have a century home and my husband was looking for a time period style cord for a light he wanted to hang in his study. This is exactly what he had pictured in his mind. It has a very sturdy feel to it (like it won't just start unraveling) and looks really good connected to the light.
