FelliP Kaleido Pet Bowl (Lordly Puss), 14cm, Smoky Quartz

This seems like a perfectly fine product, but it hasn't worked out well with my cat or solved the issue that I had hoped it would. As my cat has gotten older, she has developed "whisker fatigue." The ceramic bowls I had used in the past began to make her uncomfortable, apparently, and she started knocking kibble out of the bowls with her paw and eating it off the floor. Before buying this bowl, I tried using shallow plates to feed her, but they couldn't contain the food well enough. I was hoping the depth of this bowl would be a middle ground, containing the food while still being shallow enough for her to comfortably feed from. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. This bowl is deep enough that her whiskers touch the sides, so she continues to pull kibble onto the floor with her paws and eat it off the floor. I don't have any other complaints about this product, but if your cat has whisker fatigue like mine does, then perhaps you should look elsewhere.If my 2-star rating seems harsh, keep in mind that FelliP's description says, "The shallow Lordly Puss bowls are specially designed for cats with whisker stress." For my cat, this bowl didn't do what it claimed; she still has whisker stress with this bowl and does not want to eat from it. FelliP also makes a slanted version of this product, and although I have not used it, I'm skeptical that the results would have been better with that bowl. I've tried using tilted bowls, and they seem to just encourage my cat to reach in with her paw and knock all of the food onto the floor. I think the ideal food bowl for my cat would be something very similar to this product but with a shallower depth.I haven't replaced this bowl, so I don't have any alternative products to recommend.

I ordered 2 of these bowls and I want to like them. But the manufacturer's box is so poorly designed that neither bowl had its stainless steel insert. Amazon quickly sent replacements. I received them, and only 1 had the insert. Of the 4 bowls sent, it was the only one whose box was inside a plastic bag. Once I removed the bag, it took very little shaking for the bowl to free itself. See the pictures. Somewhere in a warehouse, there is a small collection of stainless steel inserts. Now I am waiting for Amazon to figure out the problem and will hopefully hear in a week.

Ordered this.. and all that came was the base!? No bowl. Just the clear plastic base. Good quality base, mind you, but useless none the less without a bowl!

I prefer the Kaleido version than the Oblik.

I love this design! Perfect for my little Persian kitten as she can reach all of her wet food!
