I have only this minute finished fixing several small but potentially crackable in the winter stone chips in my screen. One was the size of a 5p. This kit was easy to use and I can hardly see anything now it’s done. Don’t get too paranoid about it having to be in sunlight etc. Autumn sun is fine and as long as you give it time to cure then it should be no issue. I would recommend using a little step ladder to get you up so you can place the device directly over the chip then the rest is easy. Well worth the money and no doubt saved me a big cracked screen once the ice arrives.

I had a chip on my windscreen which started to spider web within a few days. Thought I'd give this a try as I didn't want it to keep spreading. I'm quite impressed as it has completely filled the initial chip (which was about 2-3mm in diameter), and also the cracks which had spread about 1.5cm either side of the chip. The photo here shows the result. You'll notice that the cracks are filled and you can just about see where the chip was. Overall quite good, but it will never be perfect. Worth a shot for this price as eventually the cracks will keep spreading, and a "pro" repair can be very expensive.

My bottle burst open when I went to squeeze it as per instructions.Everything else worked great. Needless to say I had to remove it all and WIP my windscreen clean before it set.So my crack isn't sorted. Can I have a replacement bottle sent out to me please?

I have a small 'bullseye' on my car's windscreen, enough to be picked up at MoT as an advisory (but not enough to fail as it sits outside of the zone). It sits just on my peripheral vision, though, so I was excited to use this product to fill the small hole.Given that my particular damage is small, with no cracks, I thought a home kit like this would eat it for breakfast. Sadly, though, it didn't make much of a difference at all. In fact, screwing the unit onto the windscreen 'created' a small crack that wasn't there before.Bottom line, didn't really work for me.

The Crack Repair kit is very reasonably priced. It was the first time I used such thing. My car was due an MOT and there was a chip directly in front of driver's eye. I used this as per instructions there are however many videos online available, The result was impressive. The car passed MOT and I have to focus to see where the repair was done.

Instructions are easy to follow , most of what comes in the kit is/works fine except on mine the plunger had no hole in the bottom meaning the resin didn’t flow to the crack in the windscreen …ended up putting most the kit in the bin and just used the resin and curing strips….it’s partially repaired the chips bit not a great improvement

Product on a couple of stone chips and it sealed the small cracks up to invisible quality.Could still see the initial impact faintly but that is because it wasn't warm enough.I did the repair quickly at work without any form of heat to cure the product properly.If I would have been able to leave the car running and have warm air blowing up to the screen, this repair would've worked perfectly..Great product and I would highly recommend it.I would also recommend following the instructions to the letter.A sunny day would have helped me but I did it on a dull dreary windy day at work.You'll save a fortune with this product.

Had a small chip which had cracked (3cm total) used this kit to fix it, easy to use and the guide that comes with it was easy to follow. The only tip is inside a UV lamp to help the cure process as it needs sun light and it’s wintertimeThe chip is 99% gone so unless you know where you are looking for it you would not see it
